HRMS(Human Resource Management System),which is an important tool for human resource management, integrates information technology and ideas of human resource management in seamless hole. Existing HRMS is based on relational databases that only retains a "snapshot" of the miniworld at the lastest time point, and can not associates with the past and the future of the miniworld, which can not meet the need of modern human resource management that requires HRMS provide full analysis and forecast of human resource of the Enterprise.Adopting the temporal information processing technology, the newly HRMS based on temporal database is introduced which records the evolution's information about things in "waste book" that is a real data list, which not only provides information about things at any time, but also do comparing the past, the current, the future of things.In this paper, the newly HRMS based on temporal database in three facets is studied.In terms of theory firstly, an integrating data source is set by integrating personnel information and file information , static information and dynamic information, basical information and deriving information. And a HRMS with a distributional architecture is built up.Secondly, as to the system design we adopt B/S architecture, our design takes advantage of believable J2EE computing platform that well incorporates the J2EE computing with confidentiality and authentication service technology, which provide uniform web service and a single sign- on that is convenient for users to operate.Third is application. Taking the background of the current HRMS of HR Department in Guangdong University of Technology, a newly HRMS is built up, which incorporates the national criterion with the character of human resource management in Guangdong University of Technology.There are two areas innovation in my temporal data modeling. First is developing an arithmetic which implements information modeling by combining ERwin tool and TIMEER model. Second, an application-oriented and event-based temporal representational scheme is developed, which has advantages on following aspects: retaining simplicity of relational model, easy of implementation and query evaluation efficiency.
