This research introduces the allometric theory which has been widely accepted in biology. It proposed the concept of "Normalized Strength" with the application of the allometric theory model. Intend to evaluate the maximum muscle strength with the method of combining the traditional method of muscle strength testing and "Normalized Strength" model, eliminate the inflance of body size when evaluate the maximum muscle strength without changing the traditional method of muscle testing, in order to be more objective and accurate evaluation of subjects'maximum muscle strength who have different body size. Meanwhile, correlation analysis of the subjects'local maximal muscle strength and overall muscle strength, determine wheather each local maximal muscle strength can reflect the overall muscle strength.Subjects:Capital Institute of Physical Education students who have no training experience. Methods:This test was divided into two phases. The first phase(n=120,50 males and 70 females) measured the weight, lean body mass and height. Test the grip strength, back strength, leg strengt and overall muscle strength. One-way ANOVA were employed to assess the values of the allometric parameter. The second phase (n=55,24 males and 31 females) measured the same indicators. Put the above test results into the Normalized Strength formula. Calculate the each Normalized maximum strength. Evaluation of the results by percentile method and correlation analysis of the subjects'each local maximal muscle strength and overall muscle strength when before and after "Normalized"Conclusion:(1) Allometric theory model applied to establish the " Normalized Strength" index can be used to evaluate the maximum muscle strength who have different body size. (2)When use the allometric theory model to evaluate the maximum muscle strength, height should not be selected as an indicator reflecting the body size, body mass and lean body mass can be used as indicators reflecting the body size, where lean body mass is more precise and body mass is more convenient.(3) The allometric parameter has specificity, when use this modle to evaluate the maximum muscle strength who have different body size, first must determine the allometric parameter under different conditions.(4) When use body weight to calculate allometric scaling, males were 0.8406 0.8614 0.9626 0.6805;females were 0.9392 0.8032 1.2504 0.7479;when use lean body mass, males were 1.2538 1.2991 1.3746 1.0937;females were 1.9375 1.2090 1.6973 1.0809.(5)Local maximal muscle strength can not represent the overall muscle strength.
