Clinical Observation On The Efficacy Of Eye Acupuncture In Treating Headache Of Hyperactivity Of Liver

Purpose:By comparing the efficacy of eye acupuncture combined with traditional Chinese medicine and simple Chinese medicine treatment,to observe the clinical efficacy of eye acupuncture and Tianmagouteng granules in the treatment of liver yang headache(greater occipital nerve neuralgia).Material and method:At first,we select 60 cases of patients who met the inclusion criteria,and they were randomly divided into the traditional Chinese medicine control group and the eye acupuncture test group.The treatment of the traditional Chinese medicine control group was taking the Tianmagouteng granules,the medicine is Chinese patent medicine,mixing in boiled water for oral taking,taking 1 bag(5g) each time,3 time a day,the patients need to take medicine 14 days for a course,and they need take medicine 2 course totally.The treatment of another group named eye acupuncture test group is using the eye acupuncture needle to needle the acupuncture points around the eyes,the test group selected points includ:the upper energizer scupoint、the liver acupoint、the bladder acupoint,all selecting bilateral acupoint.Chosing the horizontal needling method out of orbit,and need to scrape the needle handle for 1 minute to promote the gas,retaining needle for 25 minutes,one time each day,lasting for 5 days,resting for 2 days,needling 10 time as one course,taking 2 courses of treatment totally.After four courses of treatment,having observations and comparisons of the patients,follow the curative effect evalation standard to judge the curative effect.Result: 1.Two groups of patients were compared in their own group,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05) before and after the treatment,illustrating that the two treatment methods were effective;Twe groups of patients were campared between groups,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05),and the eye acupuncture test group can significantly reduce the degree og headache and improve the score of VAS. 2.The total effective rate and the excellent effctive rate of the traditional Chinese medicinecontrol group were both lower than those of the eye acupuncture test group,accordingly,there were statistically significant differences in the total effective rate between the two groups(2χ=4.320,P=0.038),and there were significant differences in the excellent effective rate too(2χ=6.787,P=0.009),so the effect og eye acupuncture is better than taking the Chinese patent medicine Tianmagouteng granules simply and orally.Conclusion: 1.The treatment of the eye acupuncture for the type of hyperactivity of liver Yang headache(occipital neuralggia),the curative effect is better than Chinese patent medicine Tianmagouteng grannules in the treatment of patients. 2.The degree of headache and the score of the eye acupuncture test group’s patients were better than those in the traditional Chinese medicine control group,and the satisfaction of patient is high,without serious adverse reactions, it is valuable to further research and popularize.
