Research On Risk Management Of Reclamation Works Project Of T City Harbor Industrial Area

As the implementation process of reclamation works project has lots of features, such as the large invest scale, long project cycles, more complex technology and numerous of engineering personnel involved in, it is full of potential risks and uncertainties. Therefore, the implementation of risk management is an important guarantee for the success of the project.In this paper, it is first systematic expounded of the theories and methods of project management, the categories and characteristics of project risk management, the process of project risk management and the characteristics of reclamation works projects. And then it researches on projects risk management by using the above theories with the practice of the reclamation works project of T city Harbor Industrial Area.Firstly, the paper has comprehensive risk identification by using brainstorming method in the course of research, and the eight risk factors are identified, which are economic risk, quality risk, management risk, human resource risk, security risk, duration risk, material and mechanical risk, environmental risk. Then the list of construction projects risks was given.Secondly, this paper carries out risk probability and risk impact assessment to evaluate the risks quantificationally according to the level of risk by selected 10 experts which came from the core management personnel and financial, technical department. And determines the higher three risks, which are quality risk, management risk, and security risk, which provide a basis for key risk control and prevention.Finally, according to the results, the paper focuses on these risks and the detailed preventive measures were provided.The research on risk management of reclamation works project of T City Harbor Industrial Area provides a method and idea of analysis. It is helpful to sound project risk management theory, to enhance the application and operability of project risk management theory, to provide a good future for a similar study of reference.
