Coal is the main energy in China, and coal mine safety can not be overlooked.Electrical haulage shearer is the key equipment of modern mine, which is related tocoal mine safty and efficient production. As the domestic shearer often breakes down,and the ranging arm is the most important and most failure-prone part of the electricalhaulage shearer. So it is important to study the shearer monitoring and fault diagnosistechnologies. The existing shearer monitoring systems have many problems, such asunable to monitor vibration signal of ranging arm, low sampling frequency, poorhuman-computer interaction, etc. Aiming at these deficiencies, vibration signalacquisition of ranging arm, data analysis, embedded system and bus technique areanalyzed in this thesis. The main research work as follows:1) On researching the structural principle of ranging arm ofMG400(450)/920-QWD shearer, the vibration signal character of it is analyzed. Thisprovided the basis for the design of filter circuit and the selection of signal processingmethod. FFT de-noising and wavelet de-noising are adopted respectively to processthe vibration signal, compared the processing efficiency of these two processingmethods. The research shows that wavelet de-noising is more effective in de-noising.Therefore the wavelet de-noising is selected.2) Hardware circuit of the system is designed according to the requirements inportable data acquisition and analysis system of ranging arm of shearer. Hardwarecircuit is divided into microprocessor module, data acquisition module, data storagemodule, communication module, human-computer interaction module, powermanagement module and real-time clock module. Based on the division of functionmodules, Hardware circuit of each module is designed, and system hardware circuit iscompleted. Hardware circuit of the system is tested, function of each module can beachaieved.3) Function modules of the system software are devised, and platform ofdevelopment is designed. Under CCStudio, applications based on DSP are developed.Under integrated development environment of Qt (Qt Creator), embedded applicationsoftware based on ARM is invented which can achieve data acquisition and analysis,data management, bus communication, parameter settings, file transfer and so on.4) According to the characteristics of the target hardware platform, bootloaderand kernel are tailored and transplanted. Root file system is produced by using of BusyBox, and it is transplanted to the target hardware platform. Portable dataacquisition and analysis system of ranging arm of shearer is tested, and tests show thatthe system can realize each function, such as data acquisition, wavelet de-noising, filetransfer and so on. System runs stable.At the end of this thesis, the summarizations of the research and expectation ofthe related technology development are presented.
