The Hymenoptera, "symphyta" Belong To The Expert System

This research introduced the process of traditional insect taxonomy and it's advantages and disadvantages, what's more an abstraction of the ES (expert system) development is provided in this paper. The first generic expert identical system of Symphyta in the world is built based on Access 2000 Database System and Visual Basic 6.0 in this paper. There are sixteen families, five hundred and eighty genera in this Expert System. The biological and morphological characters of thirty-four orders of the Class Insecta and also some typical families of them are collected in this system. The tool of the relation database is Access2000 and the tool of the program is Visual Basic6.0, the Microsoft Jet Engine and the ActiveX Data Object (ADO) provided by the Visual Basic access the Access2000 database. The interface of this Expert System is similar to the Windows Operation System, so the user will not feel strangeness when he uses this system. It also provides a simple method for data manipulation. The application also provides a convenient data output. You can use multi-methods to query for what you concerned for. For example, you can use precision query, arrangement query, blur query and so on. And you also can print what you need. For the security of application, especially the security of Databasr. 'he application demands any user to input user ID and password when he wants to land system (namely, Identification & Authentication). When the application completed, it is needed to create an executable version and package the application for distribution. Establishment of the system will provide a way to store and manage treasured data of insect taxonomy to supply sufficient information to organization and any person who is concerned for the information梥uch as some universities, person who love insect and so on. I try to make the application have a friendly graphical user interface and comparatively comprehensive function, and it is expandable. To some extent, it meets user's need practically. But the system still has many things to do to be more perfect.
