With the rapid development of papermaking technology, the cutting quality requirements for paper cutter are also increasing. The performance of the paper cutter control system directly determines the quality of the paper, because the cutting precision of paper cutter is higher than the other paper making equipment. Aiming at the cutting precision problem, a high precision paper cutting control system is designed,in which a set of feeding roller and backing roller are controlled by frequency of motor speed while cutter roller controlled by servo electronic CAM. The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1) Analysis of cutter structure, principle and operationFirstly, the paper introduces the mechanical structure of the paper cutter, its working principle and technological process are described. The whole paper cutter control system involved questions about technology and design are analyzed. A comparison is made between the perimeter set paper cutting length and cutting roller. Three kinds of motion in the paper cutting and shearing process are discussed. Finally, a conclusion is drawn that paper cutter shearing precision need be improved, feeding roller need adopt by frequency control of motor speed, cutting roller by servo control.(2) The design of the feeding roller, backing roller and cutting roller on cutterThe paper cutter control system in the design of the feeding roller and backing roller speed control with frequency conversion, in the feeding roller and backing roller installation encoder will feedback own speed to the frequency converter, constitute speed closed-loop control. For paper cutting roller adopts a control strategy combining fuzzy logic and PID control algorithm, designs the position fuzzy PID controller for cutting knife. Speed following control of the electronic cam function within the servo drive, in the feeding roller installation encoder can accurately measure the speed of the paper. The paper of measuring speed as the primary input to the servo driver, the servo driver calculates the electronic cam curve according to the data of cutting length and paper speed, drives servo motor to follow the speed of paper. The encoder of the servo motor feedback pulses to the driver, and the position of the motor output shaft is corrected.(3) Hardware selection and parameter desig of the systemThe hardware selection and parameter setting of the whole control is carried out, mainly including PLC, touch screen, inverter, servo drive and some communication wire connection. The concrete implementation process of the electronic CAM is analyzed and set up, analyze the interference of the system and propose solutions.(4) Software design of the systemThe idea of modular programming is used in software design, the feeding roller, backing roller, cutting roller and fuzzy PID control respectively write control subroutine. The use of the electronic cam function in Hui Chan servo driver, the algorithm of cutting knife position control is realized by programming. Using TABLE variables within the motion controller and establishment of fuzzy control query TABLE look-up TABLE program, in the form of timely query correction motion controller PID parameters online, realize accurate positioning control for cutting knife; Using the Siemens touch screen programming software wincc flexible the preparation of the touch screen interface and download.After nearly a year of operation, the control system achieves the target of the original design. It can make paper cutting precision in the ±0.5 mm, which is fully recognized by users.
