The textile industry is one of the fundamental industry in China. Today China has become the world's largest producer of soft goods with its enormous quantity and productivity. But the old facilities, out-time management and inefficiency in this field have limited its advancement with the more and more competition in the world's textile market especially after China's access to WTO, the gap between China and other countries which adopted the advanced textile technology become more evident. Thus it is of vital important to promote the capability to produce and apply the high-tech textile machine in China.Electronic jacquard is one of high-tech weaving machines, which adopted the latest electronic, communication and computer technology to control the faucet. It has the advantages of more conveniently operation, higher reliability and lower cost when compared with the card control mechanical jacquard. There is a hot trend to study and research the electronic jacquard abroad. This paper is about the research and development of the net-oriented new electronic jacquard control system, it is consisted of the following parts:1. After an investigation of the current condition of the producing management of China's textile industry and analysis of a lot of practices, the author provide a FieldBus Net based on the BitBus to establish an automatic control system for the producing management of the weaving factory, and also provide a structure chart of the model of the whole control system.2. The author designed and realized a double CPU sub-machine station system for the field control of the electronic jacquard. There is clear task division between the principal CPU and the subordinate CPU to finish each functional module. There are a touchscreen module, a data buffering module between the two CPU, a decorative pattern data input/output module, a on/off status input/output module, etc.. Thus come to being a whole electronic jacquard.3. To realize the real time supervision and management of all sub-machines, there is a series of system control software written with the Microsoft Visual Basic tool to run in the principal machine. The control system including the general control module, communication module, supervision module, data module and producing management module etc..4. There are three communication agreements designed here, which including the data exchange agreement between the principal CPU and the subordinate CPU, the agreement between the general control CPU and the touchscreen, the agreement between the principal machine and the sub-machine.5. The author did a number of tests of the control system of the sub-machine and the software run by the principal machine in many ways, analyzed the results of the tests, and gave the direction for improvement.
