It is a common method to use the press to assemble in the production process. The traditional mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic accessorial type pressure equipment is unable to accurately control the pressure and pressure loading displacement, has been unable to meet the demands of high assembly precision auto parts, electronics, home appliances and other industries. At present, the electronic press system with AC servo motor as the power source and precision ball screw as driving, used by precision pressure loading enterprises, is able to achieve product pressing, which can not only produces accurate pressure loading displacement and pressure, and also realizes the monitoring and evaluation of process. The method can greatly improve the product qualified rate.A scheme of electronic press control system based on LabVIEW was put forward according to the development of electronic press at home and abroad and the actual requirements of industrial production. The main contents of this paper are as follows:Firstly, research background and the development of domestic and international current situation were introduced. The composition of the operation principle and structure of the electronic press system were analyzed. The control system overall plan, “PC(Programming Language) + data acquisition card + PLC + servo system”, was put forward, when on-line and real-time detection of closed loop.Secondly, the important parts of the press were designed and analyzed according to the basic requirements of the mechanical structure design. A rational ball screw was analyzed and selected, the driving mathematical model of which was established. The belt wheel with the structure of planet wheel was designed to optimize and innovate. 3D model of the press head was established by Pro/E, which was lead to ANSYS to analyze the finite element to verify the feasibility of the mechanical structure. The mathematical model of pressure head was acquired.Then, electromechanical pressure control system was designed and researched. PLC, servo driver, servo motor and data acquisition card were contrasted and analyzed, the types of which were determined. Servo system, data acquisition card, CPU of PLC and I/O of the electrical principle diagram were designed. The hardware system configuration was acquired and anti-interference analysis was carried out.Next, virtual instrument LabVIEW was chose as the upper computer software platform. The control strategy innovation based on LabVIEW was put forward. The mathematical model of the servo system was established. The simulation of the system was completed. The design of test interface, design of data communication and collection process, design of measurement and control system control programn, programming of the lower part and setting of parameter were finished.Finally, the measurement and control system was debugged and optimized, which verified the design requirements of the pressure displacement accuracy, working process, press loading action and reporting work.
