The paper introduced the current state and development tendency of mould industry at home and abroad. The impact and varieties of runner system was present and analyzed. One plastic product was simulated by moldflow, and based that date, I conclude the structure characters and design methods of runner system and provide the reliable way to set the technics parameters. Furthermore, the physical and mathematical mould concerning the process to shape was established, eventually, to conduct some research on the simulation and optimization of plastic runner system.Taking the car lining board inside the door as the example, the various flaws including filled fail, craze and fuse mark, which resulted from the special form, are exhibited. In the process to simulate the shaping of car lining board inside the door, the CAE was applied in the research of hot runner system design. The project was set by the result of the simulation by moldflow whose data are provided by Hypermesh gridding the product, therefore the mould design and manufacture and technics experience can be carried out. The results between simulation and experience are perfectly matched. The principle and method to analyze for other product are same as the presented. So an universal method is introduced to analyze the flow of the product in shaping.Hot runner system and angle blocks mechanism is adopted in the mould and the inserts and angle blocks are used to shape the complicated surface, which solve the problems including obvious gate mark, hollow in the surface, craze and low intensity. This mould is convenient in cavity manufacture and lower in cost. The plastic quality meets the inqirements.
