The 300MN die forging hydraulic press plays an essential role in the fields of military industry, astronavigation, and civilian industry. It has the characteristics of high pressure and great flow rate, and hydraulic impact usually happens when the main distributor valves open or close and state of moving beam motion changes. The hydraulic impact destroys the seal components of hydraulic system, the pressure transmitter, and the pipe fitting joints. Therefore, aimed at decreasing hydraulic impact, the analysis on hydraulic system of hydraulic press is of great importance.This dissertation provides the method of simulation analysis on hydraulic system of hydraulic press based upon AMESim and Simulink software. It establishes the AMESim simulation model of hydraulic system based on AMESim software, and the Simulink simulation model of main distributor valve control function based on Simulink software. Additionally, it realizes the co-simulation based on the co-simulation interface. The analysis results show:In the progress of descending stroke changing to stop stroke, hydraulic impact can be decreased when the transformation period of cam angle is long or the velocity of moving beam is low. During descending stroke changing to lifting stroke, to control cam angle less than 27°can reduce hydraulic impact in lifting pipe, furthermore, hydraulic impact decreases accompanied with the moving beam velocity being low or the transformation time of cam shortening. During forging stroke changing to mold collision, the fluctuating pressure increases accompanied with the contents of air in emulsified mixture increasing. During forging stroke changing to lifting stroke, the transformation time shortens and following the hydraulic impact in balancing cylinders and lifting cylinders increase because of the working cylinder upload badly. According to the experiment, the simulation model can be proved to analyze the dynamic characteristic of hydraulic system. In addition, the simulation results coincide with experiment data, thus they can guide the operators to decrease hydraulic impact.
