Objective: To investigate the effect of trace elements on immune infertility. Methods: Serum Zn, Cu in the ovulating day for 34 immune infertile women treatedwith Yiqing recipe were measured twice by Atomic Absorption Spectrometry (AAS) before and after the treatment. And Serum Zn, Cu in the ovulating day for 12 fertile women were measured too. The same time, blood Zn, Cu for ovariotomy rats weremeasured treated with Yiqing recipe 21 days after. Results: In infertile group, compared to the control group, there were higher mean Cu levels and a higher ratio of mean Cu/Zn which were lower after the treatment. There were lower mean Cu levels and a lower ratio of mean Cu/Zn in rats compared to the control group. The clinicalstudy indicated 79.4% of effective rate and 38.2% of curative rate. Conclusion: Inimmune infertile women, compared to fertile women, there may be higher Cu levels and a higher ratio of Cu/Zn. Yiqing recipe had a good curative effect in practice. It's possible the changes of trace elements have a hand in the come on and develop of immune sterility, it may be used for clinical evaluation of immune infertility and prognosis of immune infertile women.
