The purpose of this paper is:by studying the development of clinical pharmacists and the demand of Chinese Medicine,give an orientation to clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine, to make sure their status and their main functions,the ability,the knowledge and skills they must have,which should be strengthened in the training.Referring to the training of clinical pharmacists at home and abroad,considering the specificity of clinical pharmacy of Chinese Medicine,search after the training way of clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine with China's national conditions.In this paper,we adopt literature study,research,refer to the experts when fall across problems as well as some controversial issues,the conclusions,proposals and programs, analyze the results comprehensively,summarize,and finally form the research reports and proposals.Clinical pharmacist of Chinese Medicine is a necessity outcome in the development of Clinical pharmacy of Chinese Medicine.They will play an important role in promoting rational drug use,reducing adverse drug reactions and improving the quality of traditional Chinese medicine,improving Physician-patient relationship,and controlling of drug costs.It is necessary to carry out the work of clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine.The primary responsibilities of clinical pharmacist of Chinese Medicine are:Participate in clinical rational use of drugs,guide for doctors,nurses,carry out rational drug use education, publicity medication knowledge,medication guide for Patient Safety;Carry out therapeutic drug monitoring of Chinese medicine,design individual treatment programs;Carry out the monitoring of adverse drug reactions;Collect drug information,offer drug advisory services to doctors,nurses,patients;Establish patient medication files(drug history),to provide a basis for patients with treatment individualized;Drug evaluation and drug utilization research; Research and develop hospital preparation,guide their use,monitor its adverse response, improve and promote its use.Clinical Pharmacist job responsibilities of the position determine the ability,the basic knowledge and skills clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine must have.He needs to have sufficient knowledge of medicine and appropriate medical knowledge,people-oriented ideas and methods of clinical work,a strong clinical ability,good communication skills,and strong obtaining ability to new information,new knowledge,and new skills.The knowledge systems of clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine should include four parts:the basis of professional knowledge,professional knowledge,comprehensive knowledge and relevant legal knowledge.At present,Chinese medicine hospital has a large number of the Chinese medicine personnel;it is a practical way to train clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine to take a professional degree in pharmacy combination with clinical continuing education training.On the one hand,set up the clinical pharmacy of Chinese Medicine major,reform the clinical pharmacy education model in Colleges and Universities,and change the model of clinical pharmacy education,by a single chemical model to the biological-medical-medicine -social model,to foster the application and skilled professionals in clinical pharmacology for the position;On the other hand,on-the-job Chinese medicine practitioners, pharmacists of Chinese Medicine involved in the status of clinical pharmacist of Chinese Medicine are giving continuing education and training,make training experiments of clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine,speed up and strengthen the training of clinical pharmacists of Chinese Medicine.
