A Coal Preparation Plant The New Occupational Hazard Assessment

objective To identify, analyze and assess the occurrence of possible occupational disease hazard factors and degree in this construction project, confirm occupational disease hazard classification, and provide scientific evidences for health administration examination and approval to the project.Methods Analogizing was used by selecting a factory which is similar with this constructive project. The assessment was preceded by using principle of analogy.Result The main occupational hazard factors that may exist in this constructive project were dust and noise. The items including the selection of site, the overall layout, the arrangement and layout of the facilities, occupational disease prevention and protection measures, the facilities of auxiliary rooms accorded with the requirements of laws and legislation of occupational health. Based on the survey and the regulation, the constructive project was a general hazard project.Conclusion The occupational hazards which possibly present in the productive of this project can be prevented, but the design of occupational disease prevention and protection need to be improved. From the view of occupational health, the constructive project is feasible, if the constructive project can perform the measures of the feasible report and the occupational disease prevention and protection measures.
