Bazhen Yimu Fang, Chinese Medicine Treatment Of Medical Abortion Bleeding After Clinical Studies

Using mifepristone and misoprostol for medical abortion is one of the main methods to terminate early pregnancy. For those pregnant within 7 weeks, abortion success rate can be more than 90%. However, after medical abortion, the biggest problems of this method are to cause much uterine bleeding and bleeding time too long. Chinese herbal medicine can treat this bleeding with significant effect, as well as high degree of acceptance among patients. By taking Chinese herbal medicine, many patients can be exempted from uterine curettage. From the literature review, the author finds that there are various Chinese herbal medicines in treating vaginal bleeding after medical abortion. On the other hand, due to great individual differences in patients, it is difficult to achieve uniform standards of treatment. Therefore, it is significant to experiment with typical herbal medicine, and observe how the herbal medicines influence the vaginal bleeding rat modes.Through the vaginal bleeding rat modes,we can observe how Gong Xue Ning, Yi Qi Suo Gong Fang, and Ba Zhen Yi Mu Fang influence the vaginal bleeding; besides, this experiment also observes the pharmacodynamics difference of Ba Zhen Yi Mu Fang between casserole and decocting machine, which might offer experiment evidence for future clinical application.From this experiment, these are the conclusions:For GongXue Ning, Yi Qi Suo Gong Fang, and Ba Zhen Yi Mu Fang, all of them can reduce rat model vaginal bleeding and there is no significant difference between them.
