In aim, the traditional education in our country emphasizes too much on thegaining of indirect knowledge; In contents, it emphasizes on gaining the knowledge inthe text book; In method,emphasizes too much on teaching and giving. Onrecognizing of the students, They regard the student as container of the knowledge notas the resource of the knowledge? Therefore, the educators tried to change this,usingthe method of cooperative learning and exploring course eg, which embodied theexperiential learning. Although the importance of experiential education has been wellknown to researchers and educators who work on the theory, and practice ofexperiential education has been carried out for many years,the teachers on theimplementation of experiential education is still not allowed to draw. What does theexperiential education mean? It is exactly what the characteristics, advantages anddisadvantages? What teaching model can serve as a reference? These issues will bediscussed in this article.This paper is divided into four parts. The ifrst part of the study is the summary,which analyzed the current situation of Experiential education in China and therecent research and educational progress in the field of Expeirential education at homeand abroad. The second part is the theoretical basis of Experiential education, whichis written in philosophical foundation basis and psychology basis; the third part is thebasic principles of Experiential education, which is written from the commonelements of experiential education, the basic characteristics and its pros and cons arealso discussed; part four is about the embodies in Experiential education in the ifeld ofscience, art and ethics and relevant education mode and a typical cases are providedas references for educators. I hope this paper can serve as a catalyst for theexperiential education research and provides a broader way of thinking.After researching I found: common elements of experiential education include thesubject, situational, emotional, action, reflection, and issues. From the perspective of education,experiential education emphasis on the integration of idea-driven andaction-oriented, results focused learning and process focused learning, rationalityconcern and emotional concern, and thwe integration of explicit knowledge and tacitknowledge. From the results of education, experiential education can lead to thechange of feelings, attitudes and values. Experience-oriented education can improvethe quality of the individual acquirement of knowledge and experiential education ismore conducive to the comprehensive development of intelligent. In different field ofprimary and secondary education,experiential education has played a different utility.
