In the contemporary western philosophy of mind, qualia and qualia problem involves how people understand the special qualities of consciousness activities. It's not only a core problem in the contemporary western philosophy of mind, but also a focused-on problem in the fields of cognitive science, psychology, artificial intelligence and so on. Due to the growing concern on this problem, many disputes also emerge around it. Philosophers of mind have made unremitting efforts to solve these disputes and put forward many interpretation solutions. As for the qualia problem, the naturalistic solution is the most important of all interpretation solutions. Among them, as the representative theories of physicalistic reductionism, both the physical and psychological identity theory and the functionalism give answers from different aspects during the interpretation, but they come across such problems as qualia deficiency or qualia inversion, and fail to give a complete answer to the qualia problem. Then naturalists further present two physicalistic non-reductive theories, namely naturalistic dualism and biological naturalism, to address the difficulties faced by the physicalistic reductionism when it interprets the qualia problem. Although also getting into trouble, both theories can be yet a more scientifical and feasible way to interpret the qualia problem. This paper centers on disputes about the qualia problem in the visual threshold of naturalism and the naturalistic interpretation solutions put forth on this basis. Firstly, it discusses the challenges, which are brought about by "experience gap" argument, knowledge argument and modal argument and so on, faced by the naturalistic solution when it interprets the qualia problem. Secondly, it analyses the coping methods of naturalistic dualism and biological naturalism, which are presented when naturalism faces challenges, and regards both theories as feasible ways to interpret the qualia problem. Finally, it draws a conclusion that, although naturalism has both strengths and weaknesses in interpreting the qualia problem, the important role of naturalistic interpretation solution will not be shaken. Furthermore, on this basis, it presents some new attempts to interpret the qualia problem.
