Objective:To study the relationship among the changes of ischemia modified albumin (IMA), Homocystein(Hcy) in prtipheral blood and TCM syndrome types in patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris(UAP) for the objective study of TCM distinction and early TCM treatment.Methods:1.90 subjects were randomly selected from the qualified people entered the study and consistented with Hart blood-stasis syndrome type and phlegm stagnation syndrome type, including 60 patients with Unstable Angina Pectoris(UAP) and 30 healthy people.2. All patients TCM-SDT were differentiated by the standard of Syndrome Differentiation for coronary artery diseases revised in 1990.24 patients were in Hart blood-stasis syndrome group and 36 in phlegm stagnation syndrome type.3. IMA was measured by ACB test and the results were expressed as the value of ACB, and the Hcy was by cyclophorase method using automatic biochemistry analyzer.Results:1. Compared with the normal group, the serum IMA levels decreased in UAP patients (57.56±2.80 IU/ml VS 68.46±1.80 IU/ml), and the plasma Hcy levels incerased in UAP patients (17.43±2.00 umol/L VS 7.97±2.19umol/L). (P<0.01 respectively).2.There were significantly differences between the levels of serum IMA and plasma Hcy in UAP patients in different risk stratification groups (P<0.01).The serum IMA levels:high-risk group (53.96±1.75 IU/ml)<mid-risk group (57.54±1.93 IU/ml)< low-risk group (60.48±1.35 IU/ml). The Hcy levels:high-risk group (19.98±1.17 IU/ml)> mid-risk group(17.53±1.25 IU/ml)> low-risk group(15.17±1.13 IU/ml).3. There were no significant differences in age in different TCM syndrome types of UAP patients, and the same in the sex of UAP patients.4. There were significantly differences in the serum IMA levels of UAP patients in different TCM syndrome types(P<0.01). The serum IMA levels was lower in heart blood-stasis syndrome type than in phlegm stagnation syndrome type.5. There were significantly differences in the plasma Hcy levels of UAP patients in different TCM syndrome types(P<0.01). The serum IMA levels was higher in heart blood-stasis syndrome type than in phlegm stagnation syndrome type.6. UAP patients with different TCM syndrome types of the significantly differences between the risk stratification (P<0.05):it was higher in heart blood-stasis syndrome type (R=0.6639) than in phlegm stagnation syndrome type(R=0.3907).7.The levels of serum IMA was negatively correlated with the levels of plasma Hey by pearson linear correlation(r=-0.941,P<0.01).There were more correlative in phlegm stagnation syndrome type of UAP patients than in heart blood-stasis syndrome type of UAP patients.Conclusions:1.The levels of serum IMA were negatively correlated with the levels of plasma Hcy.There were more correlative in phlegm stagnation syndrome type of UAP patients than in heart blood-stasis syndrome type of UAP patients.2. The values of serum IMA and plasma Hcy in UAP patients were increased in the higher risk stratification, and could reflect the severity and prognosis of the disease.3. The values of serum IMA in UAP patients were lower in the heart blood-stasis syndrome type than in the phlegm stagnation syndrome type of UAP patients. The plasma Hcy levels were contrary. So it can become a reference value, and may be used as objective indicator types for TCM distinction.
