The Questionnaire Construction Of University Students'Emotional Intelligence

Emotional intelligence is the one of the hottest topics in contemporary psychology research. As the other concepts in psychology, emotional intelligence so far have not formed a accepted definition, the theory of the orientation of different also caused the current measurement orientation of the variety of emotional intelligence, this study is based on the ability of the orientation of emotional intelligence3dimensions structure, formationed emotional intelligence scale of college students.The reasearch reviews the representative theory of emotional intelligence about domestic and overseas, and make a brief review of the main measurement tools, and brief introduced the development of emotional intelligence and the characteristics of the university students'emotional intelligence.The scale of college students is based on the related literature research, Through the interviews to college students and open questionnaire survey, Combined with emotional intelligence3d structure theory. The scale contain53questions, nine dimensions: perception and experience of your own emotions, expression and evaluation of your own emotions, regulation and control of your own emotions, perception, experience of others' emotions, expression and evaluation of others'emotions, regulation and control of others'emotions, perception and experience of circumstance emotions, expression and evaluation of circumstance emotions, regulation and control of circumstance emotions. After the reliability and validity inspection, exploratory factor analysis and verification factor analysis, This scale has good reliability and validity, and theoretical structure fitting is good, can be used as a university students'emotional intelligence research tools.The research also use the self-made questionnaire measured the university students' emotional intelligence characteristics. The results showed:(1) the university students' emotional intelligence presents normal distribution, the various factors have different development level;(2) some dimensions of university students'emotional intelligence appears significant differences in the gender, subject, the single child, parents bonding styles. Although gender, subject, the single child in total score shows no significant difference, in some factors score of appears significant differences. In their parents bonding styles, democratic score appears significant higher than the type of unfeeling's score. According to the investigation and interview results, summarizes the characteristics of university students'emotional intelligence, and on cultivating college students'emotional intelligence, some suggestions were put forward.
