The topics is from the transformation of isothermal forginghydraulic automation control system in Baosteel corperation,the paperintroduced there are a lot of problems in control model and productionprocesses of the original hydraulic control system, thus it affected theautomation level of the whole isothermal forging system, and it spentlarge amount of artificial and restricted the quantity and quality of theisothermal forging products.The isothermal forging hydraulic press of the topic is developed withThe Forging Machine Tool Plant in Tianjin. we designed the integrationelectro-hydraulic products of PLC and automatic control and a newgeneration of computer-based technology. On the base of the introductionof products, we made isothermal forging Process automatic controledfrom the monitor of the isothermal forging’s production combined thetechnological requirements of isothermal forging process. It replaced thetraditional methods of electrical control and obtain highercost-effectiveness and safety performance.The first chapter introducedisothermal forging technology and the status quo and development trend of the Isothermal Forging Hydraulic Press in short,and introducedapplication and excellence of PLC.The second chapter described theproduction technics of isothermal forging, and introduced the structuralparameters of the isothermal forging equipment (hydraulic and heatingfurnace).Chapter III detailed the design of the hardware configuration ofthe isothermal forging automatic control system,and introduced thehardware logistic configuration and control design of the isothermalforging automatic control system. Chapter IV detailed the software designof the isothermal forging automatic control system,and introduced thedesign theory and I/0address assignment of the isothermal forgingautomatic control system,and introduced the PLC program of theisothermal forging automatic control system.Chapter V presented thedesign of the temperature detection of the isothermal forging furnace andcontrol subsystem, and detailed design of subsystem control processesand procedures.The chapter VI is devoted to design of the automaticcontrol system for isothermal forging of human-computer interface, andintroduced work state of the screen of the isothermal forging hydraulicpress, the screen parameters, data, statements, images, and historyinquiries curve information screen and alarm screen.Chapter VII is theconclusions of this paper. The system in operation after the completion oftransformation works well.The transformation has not only simplified theprocedure, but also achieved a full computer control through the use of advanced human-machine interface.it sets the control, feedback, alarmand print functions one parameter, so the system is more accurate andefficient,and creates a good results for corporation.
