Objective:In this paper, through investigating the nurse professional identity in 3-level of first-classhospitals in Taiyuan, the conditions and overall level of nurses’professional identity in 3-level offirst-class hospitals in Taiyuan is revealed; The characteristics and influence factors of thenurses’professional identity Analyzed, the strategies of improving nurse professional identityare expounded, some empirical basis and countermeasures are provided for ascending nursingservice quality.Methods:In the first stage, take the nurses in 3-level of first-class hospitals in Shanxi Province asresearch object, five hospitals are selected according to the convenience sampling method, and800 nurses are extracted as samples randomly. The questionnaire survey is carried on taking henurse general information form and professional identity scale as research tools. Analysis iscarried out by using SPSSl3.0 statistical software, descriptive statistics, ariance analysis, t test,correlation analysis, regression analysis methods. In the second stage, through the objectivesampling, questionnaires with clear expression and significant content are selected from 664valid questionnaires; 9 nurses are selected as research object according to voluntary principle,half structured in-depth interviewing and on-the-spot surveying are adopted to collect data, thecollected data is summarized using the category analysis method, the true experience, feeling andidea in nursing of 9 nurses are expounded.Results:1. The total score of nursing personnel professional identity is 65.18℅; The scores of thefactors from high to low are ID (professional identity evaluation) 89.07℅, SU (professionalsocial support) 70.77℅, SE (professional self-reflection) 68.93℅, DE (dealing with professionalfrustration) 68.8℅, SK (professional social skill) 62.13℅. The result of correlation analyzing thefactor scores shows statistically significant (P < 0.01). Furtherly Through multiple comparisonof all the scores shows the difference is significant (P < 0.01).2. The dimension of ID (professional identity evaluation): the score of nurses with differentmarriage, age, education, nursing age, professional title, income, position, department, and nightshift number has statistically significant (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); And the night shift number andposition are the important individual factors influencing ID (professional identity evaluation). 3. The dimension of SK (professional social skill): the score difference of nurses withdifferent night shift number, position has statistically significance (P < 0.05, P < 0.01).4. The dimension of SU (professional social support): the score difference of nurses withdifferent age, education, nursing age, position has statisticalsignificant (P < 0.05, P < 0.01); Andthe education and nursing age are the important individual factors influencing SU (professionalsocial support).5. The dimension of DE (dealing with professional frustration): the score difference ofnurses with different marriage, age, department, position has statistically significant(P<0.05,P<0.01). And the marriage and department are the important individual factors influencing DE(dealing with professional frustration).6. The dimension of SE (professional self-reflection): the score difference of nurses withdifferent nursing age, position has statistically significance(P<0.05, P<0.01).7. The four factors influencing nurse professional identity are: the individual factors(emotional experience, professional values, biography characteristics), professionalcharacteristics (big workload, trivial work, irregular work and rest, strong responsibility),organizational factors (interpersonal relationship, other hospital system), social factors (culturaltradition, the double pressure of policy system and social environment).8. The three levels of nurse professional identity are: perfect professional identity with highstability and positiveness; low-grade professional identity with lower stability and negative;lowest professional identity with lowest stability.Conclusion:1. The professional identity of nursing staff is in lower medium level, the perception ofnurse professional identity must be improved.2. The professional identity level of nurse with different marriage, age, education, nursingage, professional title, income, position, department and night shift number exist significantdifferences: among the levels of nurse professional identity, nurse with bachelor degree is lowerthan junior college, unmarried nurse is lower than married, nurse in emergency department andoperating room is lower than nursing and other department.3. Whether have executive position has influence to the nurse professional identity level: thehead nurse is higher than the nurse.4. Night shift number, interpersonal relationship, treatment standards are the main factorsinfluencing the nurse professional identity.
