Object Young medical staff is an important component of hospital medical team,and is the key to increase the levels of hospital management and healthcare. The present study recruits young medical staff as the research object and explores the occupational self-identity and influential factors of this group. This study can enrich our understanding of the hospital management and professional self-identity, and provide important theoretical instructions for the management practices of young medical staff.Method The research designed a questionnaire to investigate the professional identity status of young medical staff. A total of 1000 young medical staff was enrolled in this study. SPSS15.0 software was applied to perform statistical analyzes.Statistical methods, including χ2 test and multivariate analyses, were used to analyze related data.Result Results showed that(1) Young medical staff have relative high professional self-identity levels.(2) The establishment(X1), degree(X2), time engaging in medical work(X3), position type(X4), professional title(X5), and marriage status(X6) are the influential factors for the professional self-identity(Y) of young medical staff.Regression equation Y = 0.75 X1 + 0.78 X2 X3 X4 + 0.83 + 0.81 + 0.65 + 0.69 X5X6.(3) Gender and age do not have significantly influence on the professional self-identity of young medical staff.Conclusion According to the survey, the investigation proposes specific measures to increase the professional self-identity level of young medical staff. First, enhancing the education of professional self-identity in young medical staff. Second, establishing people-oriented management system for young medical staff. Third, rearing fair hospitalmanagement culture. Fourth, constructing the scientific mechanism of on-the-job education. Fifth, effective incentive measures. Sixth, reasonable title evaluation system.
