| ObjectiveTo detect the expressions of POK erythroid myeloid ontogenic factor (Pokemon) and MDM2proteins in gallbladder carcinoma. Analyze the relationship between the expression of Pokemon and MDM2proteins and the clinical significance.MethodsThe specimens were taken from40patients with gallbladder carcinomaã€12with gallbladder adenomaã€20with gallbladder polyps and20with chronic cholecystitis in the first afflicated hospital of zhengzhou university from January2009to June2011.The Pokemon and MDM2proteins were analyzed in these specimens. The relationship between the expressions of Pokemon and MDM2and clinic-pathological features of gallbladder carcinoma were analyzed.ResultsIn the tissues of gallbladder carcinomaã€gallbladder adenomaã€gallbladder polyps and chronic cholecystitis, the positive expression rate of Pokemon protein was60%ã€25%ã€30%ã€25%,the corresponding date of MDM2was57.5%ã€16.7%ã€35%ã€30%.To Pokemon and MDM2expressions,there was a statistically significant difference between four groups. In gallbladder carcinoma tissues, the positive expression rate of Pokemon and MDM2protein were correlated with different stage and grade of the tumor tissues,and these was a positive correlation between the expressions of the Pokemon and MDM2(r=0.434)Conclusion1.The Pokemon and MDM2proteins may play a important role in the formation of gallbladder carcinoma.2.There may be some extend coordinated function in the formation of gallbladder carcinoma.3. Pokemon and MDM2may be target genes in gallbladder carcinoma threapy. |
