Synonyms are some words in which there are some differences in the lexicalmeaning, grammatical meaning or color sense, and they are not at libertyto be replaced. It is an important part of modern Chinese vocabulary.synonyms teaching can not be ignored in the middle school Chineseteaching. This paper discusses according with synonyms teachingphilosophy based on the concrete examples put forward concrete andpractical teaching methods.The first part from studies of the synonyms traces the origin of thestudies of the synonyms, the results of the study and points out thedifferences, explain the necessity and importance of synonyms existingand objectively analysis of synonyms teaching situation.Part Ⅱ presents the idea of combining synonyms teaching with socialdevelopment, trying to understand the new phenomenon of the Chinesevocabulary development. Respectively, from the new words, foreign wordsand the network words to start, enrich and develop the connotation ofsynonyms. According to the principle of meeting the daily use andcommunicative needs, link of synonyms of teaching to student life andpropose a dynamic perspective to examine synonyms teaching to make itmore modern.Synonyms in the third part the basis for teaching in secondary schoollanguage teaching position and make clear the important role. Richvocabularies enrich the Chinese and provide a flexible form of Chinesewritten and verbal. The discrimination of synonyms is an important taskof middle school language teaching. The position of synonyms teachingin the secondary language teaching is important and can not be ignoredand replaced. In ancient Chinese by the choice of synonyms, make thelanguage more expressive. Synonyms teaching greatly facilitate the useof words in writing it manifests in the use of the word accuracy leveland diversity level.In the fourth part, the teaching of synonyms should be based on LanguageCurriculum Standards, the secondary language textbooks and languageteaching requirements of the life and establish the correct teachingphilosophy.Design teaching methods suitable for the characteristics ofthe students’ age and the learning law. And avoid the two problems whichcan easily arise in the synonyms teaching.One is a distinction betweensynonyms and easily confused words, and the other is to have focusedDiscrimination. When discriminating, start from the three aspects lf semantics, color, syntax and semantics commence from the severity andscope, the two directions and colors, and from the feelings and languagein both directions, expand usage to start with objects and syntaxfeatures two,. According to the different types synonyms concludeteaching methods. And try to explore teaching strategies from apsychological point of view.
