ObjectiveTo learn what problem exist of occupational disease prevention and control of healtheducation status among the coal mine staff. And provide some basis for improve theoccupational disease prevention and control of health education status in this population.MethodsA self-developed questionnaire about the cognitive, attitudes and practice ofoccupational health was distributed to l20workers with random who were selected in thisstudy in4coal mines with random. The results were analyzed statistically by descriptiveanalysis and logistic regression analysis.ResultEffective questionnaires were118. Among them:1.The awareness rate of occupationalhealth cognitive was62.0%, The result of logistic regression analysis shows thatoccupational health cognitive among the coal mine staff was influenced by age, educationlevel and type of work(P<0.05).The coal mine enterprise employees with older age, lowereducation level and less dangerous type of work then the awareness rate of occupationalhealth cognitive was lower and vice versa.2. The awareness rate of occupational healthattitude was92.4%, The result of logistic regression analysis shows that occupationalhealth attitude among the coal mine staff was influenced by age, education level and typeof work(P<0.05).The coal mine enterprise employees with older age, lower educationlevel and less dangerous type of work then the awareness rate of occupational healthcognitive was lower and vice versa.3. The awareness rate of occupational health practicewas69.5%, The result of logistic regression analysis shows that occupational healthpractice among the coal mine staff was influenced by age, education level and type ofwork(P<0.01).The coal mine enterprise employees with older age, lower education leveland less dangerous type of work then the awareness rate of occupational health knowledge was lower and vice versa.4. The results showed: the occupational health cognitive,attitude and practice were closely related to each other.5. The occupational healthrequirements: get more opportunities for occupational health examination (87.2%);increased investment in occupational health and safety, improve the working environmentin the workplace, and the quality of protection articles (75.4%). Strengthen occupationalhealth training to improve the knowledge of the coal mine enterprise employees (63.6%).Conclusion1. The workers still has the phenomenon of insufficient cognition of occupationalhealth knowledge. So occupational health knowledge training should be strengthened andhealth education should be enhanced, with various forms and channels.2. The enterpriseemployees’ attitude toward to occupational health is positive. This suggests thatoccupational health promotion has good prospects.3. The workers’ occupational healthpractice is not optimistic, that is different with occupational health attitude. It shows thatenterprise employees’ lack of professional crisis and self-protect consciousness and thesame to the learning motivation.4. The coal mine enterprise employees with older age,lower education level and less dangerous type of work then the accuracy of occupationalhealth knowledge, attitude and practice was lower. It suggests that should be carried outtargeted training to these groups of people.5. The occupational health knowledge, attitudeand practice were closely related to each other.
