Health is the basis of human’s comprehensive development and all other activities people engage in. It is also related to everyone’s happiness. Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of economy in China, people’s income has been constantly increased. However, population aging problem has become more and more serious. According to the report released by The National Working Commission on Aging, this year we are still in the stage of rapid aging. As the aging population increases rapidly, the health problem of the elderly has become increasingly vital. Along with developing economy and increasing income, will old people’s self-rated physical condition be improved?Based on the existing research, we put forward three questions:(1) How is the physical condition of the elderly in China? (2) Whether the analysis of income from a different point of view has a significant impact on self-rated physical condition of the elderly or not? If it does, what is the effect? (3) What kind of impact on self-rated physical condition of the elderly will be caused if income has been improved? This paper makes use of Logistic Regression Model and considers the elderly nationwide as objects to analyze firstly. Furthermore we do research about the effect of income on physical condition of the elderly from the angles of gender, education level as well as census register. From the above three aspects, we have found out the influential factors on self-rated physical condition of the elderly, in which the income does not have a vital influence on all aspects of improving self-rated physical condition of the elderly.Through analyzing the cross section data obtained by tracking and investigating the condition of China Health and Retirement in 2011, we have obtained increasing the income will improve the self-rated physical condition of the elderly across the country, as the income increase by $ 1,the possibility of health become 1.00001000005 times compared with before. By analyzing the gender, education level as well as census register, we have indicated that income has effect only on male, low education group and town census register, with the increase of income, the possibility of health become 1.0000174001514,1.000010200052,1.0000145001051 times compared with before. Through the segmentation of income, we have the conclusion that income dose best for health when income was in 30000 to 40000, at the same time, we find that the impact of income to health was from increase to decrease. In this paper, we have considered so many factors, these factors had been considered in existed research, but they had not been considered in one research, in this paper, they have been considered in one model.
