Objective:Select and extract typical movements with obvious effect on cervical function from 24 Form Tai chi,and form a set of targeted, simple and economical Tai chi routines for cervical spondylosis rehabilitation. Objective To observe whether Tai chi is superior to traction in improving cervical pain, joint range of motion, cervical physiological curvature and dysfunction under the intervention of two different ways of Tai chi exercise and traction. Methods:a total of 60 patients with cervical spondylosis who met the inclusion criteria were collected in the Department of rehabilitation medicine of Kunshan Sixth People’s Hospital from May 2022 to August 2022.The patients were randomly divided into experimental group and control group according to the ratio of 1:1 by completely randomized design. The experimental group was treated with some movements in 24 Form Tai chi combined with Medium Frequency Electrotherapy(MFE),and the control group was treated with traction combined with MFE.The duration of intervention was eight weeks, five times a week,a total of 40 times of training. Before the experiment, during the experiment(after four weeks of intervention),and after the experiment, the visual analogue scale(VAS),Rom score,NDI score, and X-ray physiological curvature of the cervical spine were evaluated. The overall efficacy was analyzed after the trial. Finally,IBM SPSS 21.0 statistical software was used to establish the database and analyze the data.Results:1.a total of 60 patients were included in the study, and 3 cases shed.57 cases completed the experiment. Before the test, the general data of the two groups were analyzed by independent sample t test and chi-square test: there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05),and the two groups were comparable.2.VAS score Comparison: after repeated measurement analysis of variance, the two groups of patients in 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment were lower than those before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Independent sample t test analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05),but there were significant differences between the two groups after4 weeks and 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).It can be seen that the pain improvement effect of the experimental group is better than that of the control group.3.ROM score comparison: after repeated measurement analysis of variance, the two groups of patients were reduced at 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Independent sample t-test analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment and 4 weeks after treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.05).It can be seen that the effect of improving the range of motion of cervical joints in the experimental group is better than that in the control group.4.Comparison of NDI score: by repeated measurement analysis of variance, the two groups of patients in 4 weeks and 8 weeks after treatment were lower than those before treatment, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Independent sample t test analysis showed that there was no significant difference between the two groups before treatment and 4weeks after treatment(P>0.05),but there was significant difference between the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment(P<0.01).It can be seen that the experimental group is better than the control group in improving neck symptoms and dysfunction.5.comparison of X-ray cervical physiological curvature: by paired sample t-test analysis, the control group had significant difference compared with that before treatment(P<0.01),but the experimental group had no significant difference compared with that before treatment(P>0.05).It can be seen that the effect of improving cervical physiological curvature in the control group is better than that in the experimental group.6.the overall clinical efficacy of the two groups after 8 weeks of treatment was significantly different(P<0.05).It can be seen that some movements in 24 Style Taijiquan combined with intermediate frequency therapy can effectively relieve the pain and joint activity of patients with cervical spondylosis, improve their clinical symptoms and signs, and improve their activities of daily living.Conclusion:1.some movements in 24 Form Tai chi combined with MFE reduced the VAS score of patients, increased the range of motion of cervical joints in all directions, balanced the range of motion of cervical left rotation and right rotation, and reduced the NDI score. It is superior to traction combined with MFE in improving cervical pain, joint range of motion, dysfunction and other aspects.2.some movements in 24 Form Tai chi combined with MFE had no significant improvement in improving cervical physiological curvature. The cervical physiological curvature of the traction group was significantly increased. The results showed that traction combined with MFE was superior to some movements in 24 Form Tai chi combined with MFE in improving cervical physiological curvature.3.although the currently officially released traditional exercises are relatively mature, complete and scientific,it is necessary and reasonable to intercept and adjust actions to improve their applicability when combined with specific diseases and people. The 10 typical movements selected and refined from 24 Form Tai chi are highly targeted and easy to learn for the treatment of cervical spondylosis. They can be used as one of the effective methods for the clinical treatment of cervical spondylosis.
