Objective:The purpose of the projection is to investigate occupation protection status of surgical staff on related intravesical perfusion chemotherapy to improve the occupation protection consciousness and establishment of a reasonable and safety occupation protection system for intravesical perfusion chemotherapy, and further build training base for students, young doctors of Top-A Hospitals in Taiyuan Methods:First of all, 573 surgical staff involved in intravesical perfusion of cytotoxic agent were investigated by using “a questionnaire of the occupational protection status of the medical personnel in the bladder instillation of the drug” in Top-A Hospitals in Taiyuan. All the data were analyzed using chi-square test. Secondly, liver, renal functions and blood routine of surgical staff related intravesical perfusion cytotoxic agent were compared between exposure and non contact Surgical medical staff using chi-square test. Results:Statistically, there were significant(p <0.05) in the protective managements between Tumor hospital and General hospitals. Tumor hospital was better than others in wearing protective goggles/face shield, dispensing disposable table covered with protective pad, and when extracting, the liquid limit within the capacity of ? syringe. Pre-operation training was also better in Tumor hospital than that of General hospitals. Surgical staff’s Alanine Aaminotransferase(ALT) 、Glutamyltranspetidase(GGT)、Total Bilirubin(T-BIL) Direct Bilirubin(D-BIL)、Indirect Bilirubin(I-BIL) and Alkaline Phosphatase(ALP) were significantly higher in the exposure group of intravesical perfusion chemotherapy than that of the non-exposure group. The level of T-BIL and I-BIL was higher than the normal range. Conclusions:(1)There are no perfect protective equipment and appliance in the area of surgical words and operation room.(2) Surgical staff lack knowledge of storage protection management for cytotoxic drugs.(3) In the general hospital, surgical medical staff’s operation is not perfect to carried out according to the rules of the treatment of cancer patients with bladder infusion, however in the tumor hospital medical staff’s consciousness of protection is better than that of the general hospital.(4) It is seriously insufficient that occupation protection training for surgeons.(5) There are statistically significant of indicator in liver functions by comparing between the exposure group of intravesical perfusion chemotherapy and the non-exposure group.
