Novel Musical Instruments are the instruments which appeared in recent years.With new form, new function and new significance. They made new kind of musical instruments in the Musical Instrument industry. These new instruments have new function and features, which traditional musical instruments never have. Their appearances have great significance to the development of the Organology and the invention trend of musical instruments.This paper tries to discuss the novel musical instruments’character, function and their value, make conclusion about their social significance and cultural meaning. Concluding the novel musical instruments types through different angle of view. Furthermore, showing the real examples of those instruments to the readers. Stating their material and inventor’s thought, then revealing their internal mechanism. By doing these things, the writer hopes to get cultural preliminary understanding of the new instruments.This paper consists of 3 parts.Preface primarily summarized the appearance of the Novel Musical Instruments and its opening,reason and aim.The main parts of article are divided into two parts.One is Chapter 1 to 4,which described and analyzed the Novel Musical Instruments’types and their significance.Chapter 5 is a single part,which is used to conclude all the representative Novel Musical Instruments in the worldin addition,classified them by mathematical way "Logical Set".The epilogue summarized the whole texts,and drew a conclusion of the Novel Musical Instruments.
