Research On The Phenomenon Of Hangzhou Dialect Island

Hangzhou, located in the northern part of Zhejiang Province, is the capital of Zhejiang province. Hangzhou has a long history, is one of China’s six ancient capitals. The site of Southern Song Dynasty Palace and the site of Liangzhu located in Hangzhou. Hangzhou dialect belongs to the Wu dialect,Hangzhou film. Its pronunciation,vocabulary and the basiccelements of grammar are similar to the other Wu dialect which surround Hangzhou.But compared to other Wu dialect,Hangzhou dialect is closer to the Mandarin.On the present status of the research in terms of Hangzhou dialect,nobody have made the systematic research except XuYue.XuYue made a systematic study of Hangzhou dialect,including pronunciation and affix“er”.Research of Hangzhou dialect lack of systematic and integrity.In this paper, on the basis of field investigation, according to the linguistic theory,adopts the synchronic description method and the method of historical comparison,compare with Hangzhou dialect, Wu dialect and Mandarin.Compare the similarities and differences pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar between Hangzhou dialect,Wu dialect and Mandarin,we can sum up the characters of Hangzhou dialect.The full text is divided into six chapters. Chapter one, introduction. Mainly introduces the research situation of Hangzhou dialect. Briefly introduces the research method, the selected topic goal and significance. The second chapter, geographical and cultural factors of the formation of Hangzhou dialect island. Introduces the history of Hangzhou and the change of the city’s condition, at the same time,discusses the reason of the formation of Hangzhou dialect island. The third chapter, the Hangzhou dialect island phonology and phonological features. Introduction phonology of Hangzhou dialect and the Wu dialect, and make a simple comparison.The fourth chapter, the vocabulary of Hangzhou dialect and the Wu dialect. This part sorted out the similarities and differences between Hangzhou dialect and the Wu dialect, through a large number of linguistic facts, presents the characteristics of Hangzhou dialect island. The fifth chapter, the grammar of Hangzhou dialect island.This chapter mainly introduces the grammar features which Hangzhou dialect is different from Mandarin.
