In order to know the current blackboard-writing situation in TCFL class, the author conducted a survey about blackboard teaching in an university in Guangzhou, and observed,analyzed and discussed the phenomenon of blackboard teaching. Firstly it leads to the concept of“multimedia blackboard” and “handwriting blackboard”, then conducting a survey about blackboard usage to the students and the teachers in the form of questionnaire.The student’s questionnaire shows that most of people choosing multimedia blackboard as the main approach while subsidiary with handwriting blackboard, as for the proportion of choosing other blackboard methods as the main approach is relatively low. For the teacher’s questionnaire, the result were similar with the student’s, most of people choosing multimedia blackboard as the main approach in class, and the proportion of treating handwriting blackboard as the main method is relatively low. Above all, the majority of the teachers and the students deem that it mainly use multimedia blackboard while subsidiary handwriting blackboard in TFCL class, at the same time the students think highly of the current blackboard designing.Besides, during the study process of section content in integrated course, it uses multimedia blackboard as the main approach for new words and text while relays more on handwriting blackboard when teaching Chinese characters. It do not have fixed way for exercise and grammar teaching.At last, the author proposed some related teaching suggestions based on the findings and the current situation of blackboard teaching.
