In the period of the Republic of China, Hunan vocational education occupies animportant position in the development of the national vocational education. Hunanprivate Chu Yi Industrial school (hereinafter referred to as Chu Gong)is a goodrepresentative and model of Hunan vocational education from the point of schoolscale, professional setting, teachers,school performance and so on. The analysis frommacroscopic and microscopic perspective of history and education of Chu Gong onschool running entity has a important significance for theory research of Hunanvocational education of The Republic of China. In addition, from the view of practicalpoint, it can provide reference and enlightenment for solving the problem ofvocational education by now.This paper will discuss five parts about Chu Gong on the the history background ofChu Gong founded,development process, school profile, school characteristics,historical influence and so on.The establishment of Chu Gong is the product of specific historical environment. Inthe late Qing Dynasty,nationwide vocational education and vocational education inHunan Province has risen, the thought of "industrial salvation","saving the nationthrough education" gradually become the guiding ideology of saving the nation fromperil. All that because of a good foundation of establishment of Chu Gong. Nationaland provincial government attaches great importance to the development of thevocational education, they introduced a number of institutional texts to guide andstandardize the vocational education development. With modern industry and socialeconomic development growing,the big demand for specialized talents become thedirect dynamic of Chu Gong founded. With the addition of infiltration and influenceof "practical" style in Hunan culture, Chu Gong emerges as the times require.During the period of the Republic of China, the development of Chu Gong is notgoing smoothly, and it experienced a tortuous process. Good governance from1910in Changsha, founded in twentieth Century30years, ushered in the vigorous growthstage of development. After the outbreak of the Japanese War of aggression againstChina, Chu workers forced to West moved to Xinhua Baishazhou school to overcomethe difficulties in extremely hard and bitter that making the music of education neverstop. After the victory of Anti Japanese War, Chu Gong come back to Changsha, enterthe Demobilization Period, and restored in the rice bin teaching. After the outbreak ofthe civil war, the "nursing and promoting the new" movement head to meet the arrivalof a new era.Without the education entities the healthy functioning of Chu Gong outstandingachievements in school cannot accomplish. The policy of Chu Gong school emphasison the industrial salvation and the unity of knowledge and action; the managementsystem is to ensure a streamlined and effective; the excellent teachers are choose byselection criteria; the professional settings fit closely to the actual needs; trainingequipment and practice course site perfect and more, the school practice andinternship are arranged reasonably; the employment situation of graduates areoptimistic.Chu Gong also has some outstanding characteristics. Such as starting late, rapiddevelopment; professional setting of practical; hard work ahead in school spirit andstudy style; exteriors Xingguo in moral training; combining theory with practice andlearn in order to practise; recreational activities are rich and colorful.Chu Gong development and school education in Hunan, Hunan occupation education,modern Hunan society had an important influence. On the one hand, Chu Gong as therepresentative of the Hunan occupation education started to improve educationstructure and regional distribution is not reasonable has important significance. On theother hand, Chu as the typical of Hunan occupation education, school running modeand management system become the school reference and learning samples, whichmakes private occupation school to become an important force in Hunan vocationaleducation, but also improve the Hunan occupation education influence in the country.At the same time, Chu work in promoting the process of the modernization of Hunan,to promote transformation of the mode of the modern application of talent training, promote the Hunan social development and political progress of Huxiang culture, richspiritual connotation, the promotion of Hunan local traditional concepts and customschange plays an important role.
