With the deepening of the new curriculum, modern poetry in Chinese teaching in junior middle school plays a more and more important role in teaching in junior middle school. In this study, through the literature material method, interview method, observation experience method, first to the modern poetry teachingoutline in detail, and points out the concept of modern poetry and modern poetry teaching, points out the reality of modern poetry teaching and theoretical basis,analyzes the function of modern poetry teaching in junior middle school to improve the literature the rich emotional world, culture, appreciation interest,cultivate noble sentiment, has the practical significance, the meaning of the teaching of Junior High School of modern poetry aesthetic significance, philosophical and humanistic spirit, the core of this paper, namely the third chapter puts forward effective strategies of modern poetry in Chinese teaching in Junior middle school, first of all is to grasp the speak in measured tones, learn tolove reading; the second is the taste of language, the beauty of artistic conception of poetry is concerned again read; "eye" and image understanding,emotion; then is used in a variety of forms, read poets think; the last is theirpoetry, to create a poetic space. Put forward the teaching strategy of a system feasible for junior middle school Chinese teaching of modern poetry, so that both teachers and students can improve their language literacy in modern poetryteaching, get the influence of the United states.
