Coal winning machine is a complex Mechatronics and hydraulics integration system.The load characteristics of shearer parts are complex,and the design and analysis of these parts is an important step in the research and development of shearer.There is a big gap between our country and the developed countries in the world about shearer in terms of reliability and intelligence.The design and development of coal mining machine in our country have been in the mode of experience design,which has seriously restricted the development of coal mining machine.With the development of computer technology,the application of CAD technology and the introduction of parametric design technology provide a new direction for the design of shearer.In this paper,the parametric CAD and parameterized CAE technology are applied to the design of shearer.With UG9.0 as the platform and VS2012 as the program development tool,combined with the UG secondary development technology and SQL Server database technology,developed the shearer design and analysis system.The design and analysis system of Shearer Based on parametric CAD modeling,parametric CAE analysis and design knowledge database is developed.The system includes parametric CAD design subsystem,parametric CAE analysis subsystem and database subsystem.The parameterized CAD design subsystem is based on the parametric design method of the model template,and the new model is generated by the dimension parameter driving method on the basis of the original model.This method is fast and effective,it is convenient to modify the parts and build the model again.And this method improves the efficiency of model building.The parametric CAE analysis subsystem uses UG Open C++ to prepare the pre-processing program by VS2012 to achieve pre-processing parameter settings of finite element analysis and the program automatically calls NX NASTRAN solver.The parameterization and automation of CAE pretreatment reduced the threshold of finite element analysis.The database subsystem of shearer design involves the parts,materials and CAE analysis data database.By using the technology of SQL Server database management and ADO access to the database,the data access and query function is realized through the human-computer interaction interface.This subsystem realize the sharing of design knowledge of shearer.The parameterized CAD/CAE design and analysis system of Shearer has the man-machine interface which is consistent with the UG style,and this system is easy to use and has friendly interface,and realize the seamless integration with UG software.The system improves the design efficiency and shortens the design cycle.In the research and development process of the shearer,the designer can use the system to model and analyze the product conveniently,the automation and parameterization of shearer design and analysis are realized.It has been proved by practice that the application of parametric CAD/CAE design and analysis system can effectively improve the design efficiency and market competitiveness of enterprises.
