ObjectiveThis project attempts to study the correlation between syndrome types of TCM of postmenopausal osteoporosis and serum protein Bcl-2 and Bak.It discusses the etiology of postmenopausal osteoporosis and look for micro material basis of TCM syndrome types, provides scientific basis of postmen opausal osteoporosis and TCM syndrome types.MethodsDuring the period from January 2016 to December 2016,patients in the affiliated Orthopaedic Hospital of Guangzhou University of CM.The 85 postmenopausal women who met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria were selected as the subjects(61 postmenopausal osteoporosis patients and 24 non osteoporosis patients).Bone mineral density was measured by DXA in all patients and 4ml peripheral blood was collected from each patient.ELISA was used to detect the expression of Bcl-2 and Bak protein in serum samples. The indicators of different groups were for Statistical analysis.Results1.Analysis of the correlation between L1-L4 average bone mineral density and Age,menopausal time, body mass index,Bcl-2 and Bak protein. All results were significant correlation(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation between age, menopausal time,Bak protein and the mean BMD of L1-L4,with a correlation coefficient of-0.551,-0.560,-0.628.There was a positive correlation between BMI,Bcl-2 protein and the mean bone mineral density(BMD)of L1-L4,with a correlation coefficient of 0.502,0.539.2.The correlation analysis between Bcl-2 and Bak protein showed that they were significantly correlated(P<0.05).There was a negative correlation, the correlation coefficient was-0.482.3.The age, height, weight,BMI,menopausal age and menopausal time,L1-L4 vertebral BMD,Bcl-2 and Bak were compared between group postmenopausal osteoporosis and group non osteoporosis. There was no significant difference in age and height(P>0.05).The differences of other indexes were statistically significant(P<0.05).The age, menopausal years, and Bak levels in group postmenopausal osteoporosis were higher than those in group non osteoporosis. The body weight,BMI,L1-L4 bone mineral density and Bcl-2 protein levels in group postmenopausal osteoporosis were lower than those in group non osteoporosis.4.There was no significant difference in age, menopausal years,BMI,L1-L4 mean BMD,Bcl-2 and Bak protein levels in different types of postmenopausal osteoporosis(P>0.05).5.There was no significant difference in age, menopausal age,BMI,L1-L4 mean BMD in different types of postmenopausal women(P>0.05).Bcl-2 in the syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney was lower than the other two types of syndromes(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between in the Syndrome of deficiency of liver yin and kidney yin and the Syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis(P>0.05).Bak in the syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney was higher than the Syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis(P<0.05),there was no significant difference between the other Syndromes(P>0.05).Conclusion1.The serum Bcl-2 protein level was positively correlated with BMD of lumbar spine, and the serum Bak protein level was negatively correlated with BMD of lumbar.2.Compared with non osteoporosis patients, the serum Bak protein level was higher and the serum Bcl-2 protein level was lower in postmenopausal osteoporosis patients.3.There was no significant correlation between serum Bcl-2 and Bak protein and different TCM Syndromes of postmenopausal osteoporosis.4.In postmenopausal women, the serum Bcl-2 protein level in the syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney was lower than the other two types of syndromes;the serum Bak protein level in the syndrome of yang deficiency of spleen and kidney was higher than the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome.
