| Purpose: this paper aims to observe the clinical treatment effect of Zhixiekeli(granule for checking diarrhea)for the infantile acute diarrhea that conforms with the syndrome differentiation standard of diarrhea with damp-heat in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM),so that we could determine the curative effect of granule that avoids being decocted prodeced by tutor in treating the infantile acute diarrhea.Methods: designing the clinical observation table of Zhixiekeli in treating the infantile acute diarrhea,collecting 60 children patients whose syndrome conforms with the standard of diarrhea with damp-heat in TCM,and dividing them into the treatment group and control group;besides routinely treating dehydration and maintaining electrolyte balance,the 30 cases of treatment group were treated in oral Zhixiekeli,while the other 30 cases of control group were treated in montmorillonite powder(Smecta)and bacillus subtilis duplex living bacterium particles.Recording the symptoms and signs of patients in detail and making the integral statistics respectively before using medicine and after continuous treating for 4 days,and then after the observation dealing with the indexes in statistics.Results: the improvement effect of Zhixiekeli for signs and symptoms of children patients whose syndrome conforms with the standard of diarrhea with damp-heat was significantly better than the control group.Conclusion: it has been confirmed by clinical research that Zhixiekeli is the effective formula in treating the infantile acute diarrhea(diarrhea with damp-heat).With the convenience of taking infused,and no side effects,the improvement effect in symptoms and signs is better than the treatment in pure western medicine. |
