Clinical Research Of Comprehensive Therapy Combines Fire Needle And Bloodletting On Tip Of Ear For Treating Papular Acne

Objective: In this paper,research is conducted to analyze clinical efficacy for the comprehensive therapy of papular acne,that combines with fire needle and bloodletting on tip of ear.And then,to compare efficacy differences between four kinds of TCM syndrome types for the treatment of papular acne.Evaluate meaning of the comprehensive therapy that combines with fire needle and bloodletting on tip of ear.Method:70 volunteers of papular acne were recruited according to the inclusion criteria.they were randomly divided into 2 groups,the treat group and the control group.All patients were given lifestyle intervention.Patients in the treatment group were treated with fire needle and bloodletting on tip of ear.Specifically,they were treated every other day and 3 times for a course.For patients in the control group,adapalene gels were applied to the skin every night before bedtime and 7 days for a course.All the patients needed to take t hree courses.In this research,all patients were required to take pictures pretherapy and post-treatment.Afterwards to observe the changes of the lesions and fill in the symptoms index in the end of 3 courses of treatment.Finally,to compute efficiency between two groups and statistical test should be done.Results:1.The effective rate of treatment group or control group was 90.63% and 70.97%.Statistical analysis was performed with the chi-square test.The therapy in treatment group was more effective than control group,a statistically significant difference(P <0.05).2.There are 3 patients were found in treatment group with adverse reaction and 9 patients in control group.Incidences of adverse effect showed a significant difference between the treatment(9.38%)and the control(29.03%)groups(P<0.05).3.There are 32 patients in treatment group totally and contains 4 kinds of TCM syndrome types.The effective rate of wind-heat syndrome was 80% and the imbalance of Chong-Ren channels syndrome was 71.3%.The effective rate of damp-heat syndrome was identical with Tanning-Lieu syndrome,all was 100%.The effective rate of four kinds of TCM syndrome types showed no significant difference by chi-square test(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.The comprehensive therapy has a higher curative effect and a lower adverse reaction than adapalene gels for treating papular acne.2.The comprehensive therapy is effective for 4 kinds of TCM syndrome types of papular acne but there is no significant difference between different types.
