Objective:1.Combined with the clinical pathway of epilepsy,it was established to construct the health education pathway of infantile epilepsy, which is based on demand of infants with epilepsy caregivers.2.The healthy education pathway of infantile epilepsy was applied in clinic to explore the effect of the treatment of infants with epilepsy. Methods:The 72 Caregivers with infantile epilepsy who were initially diagnosed in a primary hospital for pediatric neurology at a top-three hospital in Jinan City,Shandong Province were randomly assigned to the control group and the intervention group. The control group was given routine health education and the intervention group was given a health education path education.Comparing the two groups of caregivers and mastering the degree of disease knowledge at the time of into the group and discharge, comparing the children’s compliance behaviors of the two groups within 3 months after discharge, including medication compliance and follow-up compliance, comparing the number of epileptic seizures and the duration of each seizure of the two groups within 3 months after discharge from the hospital. The rate of re-hospitalization for recurrence of the disease within 3 months after discharge was compared between the two groups. Results:A total of 64 caregivers completed the study, including 30 in the control group and 34 in the intervention group.(1)Comparison of epilepsy disease knowledge:There was no significant difference in the correct rate of epilepsy among the caregivers before intervention(p>0.05).After the intervention, the correct rate of epilepsy among the caregivers of the intervention group was higher than that of the control group, with a significant difference(p<0.05).(2)Comparison of compliance behaviors:The medication compliance in the intervention group was higher than that of the control group within 3 months after discharge(P<0.05),and the follow-up rate of the children in the intervention group was high within 3 months after discharge. In the control group, the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).(3)Effect evaluation:There was no significant difference in the number of epileptic seizures and the duration of each seizure within 3 months after discharge between the two groups(p>0.05).Within two groups, the seizures within 3 months after discharge from the control group and the number of episodes and the duration of each episode did not differ significantly(p>0.05).The number of epileptic seizures decreased within the 3 months after discharge from the intervention group(p<0.05).There was no significant difference in the duration of each seizure(p>0.05).The rate of readmission for seizures within 3 months after discharge was lower in the intervention group than in the control group, with a statistically significant difference(p<0.05).Conclusion:Infants with epilepsy health education path education intervention can improve the knowledge level of the epilepsy disease of the caregivers in children, and can improve the caregiver’s compliance behavior. It is not sure that the number of seizures and the duration of each episode can be reduced within 3 months after discharge.Reduce the rate of hospital admission.
