Objective:By collecting 72 cases of patients with sepsis in young and middle-aged adults of serum ca2,case fatality rate changes and other biochemical indicators,we can investigate the effect of hypocalcemia and sepsis on the prognosis of patients in terms of mortality. Methods:The patients who were diagnosed with sepsis from December 2016 to December 2017 at the second affiliated hospital of nanchang university emergency ICU and comprehensive ICU were confirmed as the object of this study. The diagnostic criteria for inclusion in the group were based on the latest SEPSIS3.0.According to the level of serum calcium, the patients are divided into normal calcium group and hypocalcemia group, and the correlation analysis of statistical indicators and the mortality of inpatients are performed statistical analysis.According to the survival condition in the hospital, the patients were divided into the survival group and the death group, and the correlation analysis of the PCT level and the correlation between the two groups were statistically analyzed.Using Logistic regression analysis of young patients with sepsis mortality and related indicators independent factors affecting relations, and drawing the receiver-operating characteristic(ROC)curve in order to estimate the prognosis of sepsis respectively sensitivity which is specificity influence the prognosis of sepsis in young adults,.Results:1.In this study,.Low blood calcium group and normal blood calcium group in PCT,SOFA score and APACHEⅡscore, albumin, electrolyte(magnesium)has statistical difference(P<0.05),blood calcium values and PCT(r=0.249,P=0.249)and SOFA score(r=0.268,P=0.268)showed a negative correlation relationship; It was positively correlated with albumin(r=0.461,P=0.000),electrolyte(mg)(r=0.321,P=0.006).The mortality rate of the normal blood calcium group was 15.79%,while the mortality rate was 81.13%,χ~2=25.884,and statistical difference(P<0.05).2.There were statistically significant differences between the survival group and the death group in PCT,SOFA score,APACHE grading and serum total calcium(P<0.05).Logistic regression analysis showed that,in predicting the prognosis of patients with sepsis, the total serum calcium value was a protective factor, and APACHE grading was a risk factor.Conclusion:1.Total serum calcium levels is negatively correlated to the severity of infection, the serum total calcium values is negatively correlated with PCT,SOFA score changes, total serum calcium level may be used as a monitoring index of reflect its prognosis.2.Serum total calcium was negatively correlated with mortality during hospitalization,so it is inferred that serum calcium may be a protective factor for mortality during hospitalization.
