The Research On Modal Particles Of Weidian Dialect In Qin'an County

Weidian town lies to the southeast of Gansu Province and the northern end of Qinan County of Tianshui City.Weidian dialect belongs to Longzhong area of Zhongyuan dialect.Weidian Dialect has rich modal particles with distinct local characteristics.This paper focuses on the description and analysis of modal particles in Weidian dialect,and probes into the origin of the modal particle “Ga”.The paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the introduction.This chapter briefly introduces the general situation of Weidian,the phonology of Weidian dialect,the reasons for choosing the topic,the significance of the topic,the general situation of research on the modal particles of Weidian dialect,the focus and difficulty of the paper,the research method and the source of the corpus.The history of the study of modal particles,research status,definition and characteristics are also reviewed.The second chapter is about Weidian dialect single modal particles system.In this chapter,the main vowels of modal particles are used as the standard,and they are divided into seven categories.According to Hu Mingyang's classification criteria of the tone of modal particles,the single-modal particles of Weidian dialect are described in both phonetic and semantic terms.And the system of Weidian dialect single modal particles is established at a preliminary level.The third chapter is about Weidian dialect with the use of modal particles system.Taking the typical modal particles in Weidian dialect as examples,this chapter carries out a comprehensive description,analyzes of the modal meaning of tone according to Hu Mingyang's classification standard of tone and establishes the modal particles system of Weidian dialect.The fourth chapter explores the origin of the modal particle “Ga”in the Weidian dialect.Based on the brief description of the variation of the modal particle “Ga”,the origin of the modal particle “Ga” is explored from the perspective of phonetic evolution.The fifth chapter is the conclusion,which summarizes main contents briefly and points out the shortcomings of this paper.
