An Analysis On The Present Situation And Development Trend Of Track And Field In China From The Thirty-first Rio Olympic Games

As the basis of the Olympic Games,track and field development reflects the ability of a country's competitiveness in sports.In order to improve the rapid development of China's athletics sports level and promote our track and field development,this article makes a comparative analysis on the grades ranked former 8 in the thirty-first Rio Olympic Games mainly through literature analysis,inductive analysis,mathematical statistics and other methods.It analyzes countries that is powerful in track and field world,the results of our country in track and field competition and comparison between the scores this year in China in track and field competition and the former scores.It concluded the track and field status in the world and China to explore a good direction for the future development,which plays a positive role in the continuous development of track and field sports in China.The analysis results show:1.the number of countries winning medals in track and field competition in the Rio Olympics Games has increased and the changes is great,which shows that track and field sports has gained popularity worldwide and the world track and field sports are blooming together.2.The regional ownership and item group attribution of medals and gold medal project in international track and field events are still in the divergence trend.The competitive strength of the continents is not in balanced pattern.3.Our country won 2 gold medals,2 silver medals and 2 bronze medals in the Rio Olympic Games and ranks not only fourth in medal standings,but also fifth in the score board,hitting a record high and a breakthrough in a number of projects.The overall strength of male athletes has increased and fast strength group is of outstanding performance.4.Heel-and-toe walking race and women' throwing in China's track and field regiment show a strong momentum.Surprise is created in the men' sprint,jumping and other projects,showing an overall situation of one field topping the all and many other sports being blooming.However,several marathon and other traditional items are at the downward trend,leaving in no successor embarrassment and the overall performance of the athletes reflects it lacks of capacity.5.The future development of Chinese track and field lies in:strengthening traditional powerful sports,developing potential projects,improving the competitive ability of the athletes,combining local coaches with foreign ones,broadening the means of selecting talents and creating training strategy.
