Clinical Observation Of Liu's Pediatric Massage To Regulate Children's Lung Deficiency

Objective:Based on the related basic theory of traditional Chinese medicine of children’s physiological characteristics and the clinical observation about Feixu(lung deficiency)type of constitution in children using the Liu’s infantile massage,we explore the recuperative effect and significance of Feixu(lung deficiency)type of constitution in children with this method recuperating.Methods: We chose 60 cases of children who were conformed the diagnosis of Feixu(lung deficiency)type of constitution,aged 1 year to 6 years old;23 cases of male,female 37 cases.According to treatment sequence the children were divided into the Liu’s infantile massage group used by the Liu’s infantile massage and normal infantile massage group used by normal infantile massage,30 cases in every group.We assessed the changes of primary symptoms and observed the diseases in the past three months before and after the intervention.Results:1)After receiving massage,1 case of the Liu’s infantile massage group of clinical has fully recovered;in the treatment,5 cases showed marked effect and 17 cases were effective while it turned out to be ineffective in 7 case.Therefore,the total effective rate was 76.67%.In the normal infantile massage group,the corresponding numbers was 0,4,18 and 8 respectively,as a result of that the total effective rate was73.33%.There is no difference on the recuperative effect between the two groups(P﹥0.05),and the recuperative effect in two groups were similar.2)After the recuperation for two kinds of schemes,the primary symptoms(lusterless face,oligotrichosis,faint low voice,spontaneous sweating)of the both groups were obviously improved than before(P﹤0.05),showed that both schemes are efficacious,but the recuperative effect of the Liu’s infantile massage group was more significant than the normal infantile massage group in spontaneous sweating(P﹤0.05),and little difference in the other(P﹥0.05).3)The diseases incidence of two groups were lower than before with the therapy(P﹤0.05),and the recuperative effect of the Liu’s infantile massage group was better(P﹤0.05).Conclusion:1)The Liu’s infantile massage and normal infantile massage in recuperating children Feixu(lung deficiency)type of constitution were remarkable curative effect,and the effect was similar.2)Two therapies were compared by the primary symptoms and the diseases incidence,having showed that the Liu’s infantile massage group recuperative effect was superior to normal infantile massage group in sweating symptoms and diseases incidence.
