Since the 16 th century,the process of continuous evolution of the scientific system has aweed the world.Why does science continue to evolve? The article explores the causes of the continuous evolution of the modern Western scientific system and finds that its evolution is based on the continuous evolution of the mathematical representation of the system order parameters.From the synchronic structure of the scientific system,the scientific synchronic structure is divided into three incommensurable subsystems: mathematical representation,philosophical ontology commitment and discovery experiment,in which mathematical representation is used as the order parameter of the system.Starting from the breakthrough of Aristotle's physics system,Galileo used mathematics as a simple quantitative method to describe nature.The sudden change of this idea laid the general paradigm of modern scientific system.In accordance with this paradigm,Newton continued to use mathematics to describe the natural principles and completed the construction of the first physics system that integrated Kepler's solar system space with Galileo's above-ground space.From the diachronic evolution of the scientific system,the evolution of mathematics has gone through three stages: intuitionism,logicism,and formalism.The evolution of physics corresponding to the three stages of mathematical evolution is intuitionism,empiricism,and rationalism.Newtonian mechanics is a model of intuitiveism.Its mathematical structure is Euclidean geometry.Special relativity is the representative of empiricism.The Minkowski space is a pseudo-Euclidean geometry between European and Riemannian geometry;The theory of relativity is the embodiment of rationalism,and its mathematical structure is the Riemannian geometry based on tensor space.From Euclidean geometry,Minkowski space to Riemannian geometry,the three stages of mathematical evolution are clearly visible.Meanwhile,the evolution of quantum mechanics follows the same rules as the evolution of relativity.The intuitive stage of quantum mechanics is Schr?dinger's wave dynamics.The counterpart of the empirical stage is Heisenberg's matrix mechanics,while the rationalist stage is the Yang-Mills equation that lays the mathematical foundation for the gauge field theory.The thesis refers to this type as the philosophy of complexity science,which can describe the continuous evolution of the scientific system.It uses complexity science as its scientific background,Hegel's spiritual phenomenology as its philosophical background,and some complexity relationship between some incommensurable subsystems as an entry point to explore its complexityrelationship.There are various complex relationships in the scientific system,and synergy is only one of them.There are also supercirculation theory,chaos,fractal geometry,and so on.They can all be used to describe the complex relationships within science.Among the philosophical systems of complexity science,the difference between academic genres that have appeared in history is the different chosen order parameters.Logical positivism chooses the ontological commitment of philosophy as the order parameter,rational criticalism chooses the discovery experiment,the historicalism school chooses the time,and the social construction school chooses the belief,but the mathematics is not discussed.this article This article will explain mathematics as the order parameter of the scientific system and contribute a new vision and ideas for the new development of science philosophy in the 21 st century.The thesis refers to this type as the philosophy of complexity science,which can describe the continuous evolution of the scientific system.It uses complexity science as its scientific background,Hegel's spiritual phenomenology as its philosophical background,and some complexity relationship between some incommensurable subsystems as an entry point to explore its complexity relationship.There are various complex relationships in the scientific system,and synergy is only one of them.There are also supercirculation theory,chaos,fractal geometry,and so on.They can all be used to describe the complex relationships within science.Among the philosophical systems of complexity science,the difference between academic genres that have appeared in history is the different chosen order parameters.Logical positivism chooses the ontological commitment of philosophy as the order parameter,rational criticalism chooses the discovery experiment,the historicalism school chooses the time,and the social construction school chooses the belief,but the mathematics is not discussed.this article This article will explain mathematics as the order parameter of the scientific system and contribute a new vision and ideas for the new development of science philosophy in the 21 st century.
