Reciprocating compressor is the key equipment of the oil and gas industry,which is widely used in the gas' s long distance transportation.Meanwhile,the valve is one of the most important parts of the reciprocating compressor,whose performance directly affects the work efficiency and the service life of the compressor.In view of the frequent failures of reciprocating compressor valves in a work area of Tarim Oilfield Company,the normal condition and fault state of valves are analyzed by using ANSYS and ADAMS finite element software,and the simulation results are compared with the field case,and get the characteristics of vibration and temperature signals of valve faults.Finally,a set of on-line monitoring system for reciprocating compressor special valve is designed by using Microsoft Visual Studio,which provide a reliable prediction for the timely detection of valve faults of reciprocating compressors.The main contents of this paper are as follows:(1)Firstly and initially,this paper studies the working characteristics of reciprocating compressor and principle and fault mechanism of valves,establishes the 3D model of the valve by Pro/E software,and analyses the natural frequency and the modal shapes of each structure(valve plate,valve seat,spring and lift limiter)by ANSYS finite element software Explicit Dynamic STR.Then the paper analyses the distribution of stress and strain analysis of valve plate with valve seat and valve plate impact,the results match the height of the oil field.(2)Secondly,the reciprocating compressor valves opening and closing process is simulated by virtual prototype simulation software ADAMS,the results is compared with data collected at the scene,The characteristic and regularity of failed valve are analyzed with combining the signal of the fault valve(vibration signal and temperature signal,which can provide the basis for the valve fault characteristic Equipment fault diagnosis team and on-line monitoring of reciprocating compressor in Tarim oil field.(3)Finally,based on the above research and analysis,this paper designs a special valve on-line monitoring system which contains the hardware and software of reciprocating compressor vibration and temperature on-line monitoring,which is convenient for on-site staff timely finding the fault of the valve,and taking preventive and controlling reasonable scheme to reduce downtime losses and improve the modern management of the oil field.
