Cyclone Desander has a simple structure without moving parts,low cost and compact size,etc.,it is usually used in the production process of oil and gas separation.This paper used the method of numerical simulation and theoretical analysis to study on the conditions of internal flow of Cyclone Desander while the sand level rise in sand collecting barre.The main research contents are as follows:(1)Based on the different height of sand level in sand collecting barre,six different geometric models of Cyclone Desander was established.Reynolds Stress Model(RSM),QUICK discrete scheme convection term,PRESTO pressure gradient term and pressure-velocity coupling interpolation format SIMPLEC algorithm are used in numerical simulation for gas flow field in Cyclone Desander.The change of gas flow field velocity,pressure and turbulence distributions in Cyclone Desander with the sand level in sand collecting barre are researched.(2)Based on the results of gas phase numerical simulation,the motion of a single solid particle under six operating conditions was simulated by using the discrete particle model(DPM).By changing the diameter and injection position of solid particles,the movement of different solid particles in Cyclone Desander with different height of sand level in sand collecting barrel was studied.(3)Setting the boundary condition of gas outlet as Trap,the numerical simulation of solid particle groups with different diameters was carried out.By analyzing the number of injected particles and the number of captured particles,the separation efficiency of Cyclone Desander was obtained,and the influence of sand level rise in the sand collecting barrel on the separation efficiency of Cyclone Desander was obtained.(4)According to the influence of sand level rise in sand collecting barrel on desilting efficiency of desilter,we can put forward some suggestions for the design and use of Cyclone Desander.
