The Study On Coal Logistics Demand Forecast And Development Strategy Of Huaneng Caofeidian Port

Huaneng Caofeidian Port Co.,Ltd(HCP)is affiliated to China Huaneng Group Co.,Ltd,which is the largest coal and electricity generating enterprise in China,HCP is an important part of Huaneng Group's strategy of "coal,road,port,navigation and electricity".Huaneng Caofeidian Port's 50 million tons/year coal wharf project which is operated by HCP has entered production and commissioning in October 2017,the port throughput exceeded 10 million tons as of August 2018.The current capacity of the Bohai Sea coal port has become excessive judging from the operation situation of the coal ports around HCP,which makes it face a fierce competition.Thus,accurately predicting the coal logistics demand in the initial stage of port operation and making corresponding business strategies on the basis of demand forecasting and port characteristics is of great significance for enhancing the competitiveness of HCP.The throughput of the initial stage of operation in HCP was reasonably predicted through the combination of quantitative and qualitative methods and a reasonable development strategy of coal logistics for the port is put forward in this paper.Firstly,he background and significance of the topic was introduced,relevant literatures at home and abroad were consulted,research contents and methods were put forward.secondly,the relevant concepts and theoretical basis of this paper were introduced,including the connotation of coal logistics in the port,the general situation of prediction model and comparative analysis;thirdly,the development environment of HCP was analyzed from the perspective of basic situation,the external environment and the development trend of the industry.fourthly,a combined forecasting model is established to forecast the quantity of coal purchased from Huaneng Group in 2018-2020,the coal logistics of HCP in2018-2020 was forecasted on the basis of quantitative forecasting and qualitative analysis.Finally,the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for the development of coal logistics of HCP was put forward combining with the characteristics of HCP.
