Industrial green development is an inevitable requirement for the conversion of growth kinetic energy and the satisfaction of high-quality development goals in the context of the new normal of the Chinese economy.It is also a historical opportunity and an inevitable choice for Chinese industrialization path.In the industrial development history of the first 30 years of New China,Chinese industry relied on the extensive development model to accelerate the expansion of industrial scale and establish and improve the industrial production system,which laid a solid foundation for the sustainable development of industrialization.In the 40 years since the reform and opening up,it has gradually shifted to focusing on improving economic efficiency and taking "technology introduction-digestion absorption-imitation innovation" as the carrier,which has rapidly narrowed the technological gap between China and developed countries in industrial development,establishing the most complete industrial production system in the world,and becoming the world's largest industrial country.However,while China's industrial technology level and economic strength are constantly improving,the internal and external situations of industrial development have also undergone major changes.Problems such as resource and environmental constraints,the fading of demographic dividend and the intensification of international trade disputes have clearly reminded us that the environmental problems brought about by industrial development and the "big but not strong" manufacturing problems still need to be resolved.Green technology innovation is a key factor that affects industrial green performance.For various industries with different levels of technology intensity and pollution intensity,the sources of green technology innovation are heterogeneous.Therefore,it is of great significance to explore the impact of green technology innovation sources on industrial green performance from the perspective of industry heterogeneity,and to explore corresponding improvement measures.In this article,the sources of industrial green technology innovation are divided into four categories: green technology R&D,foreign green technology introduction,domestic green technology introduction and green technology transformation.At the same time,the two indicators of technology intensity and pollution intensity are selected to classify 35 industrial sectors into three categories: low technology and low pollution,low technology and high pollution,and high technology and low pollution.On this basis,this paper examines the impact of green technology innovation sources on industrial green performance from the perspective of industry heterogeneity.Corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward on how to effectively improve the green technology level and green performance of industries with different resource endowments in the context of green transformation.The main research conclusions are as follows:First,the results of studies on the impact of green technology innovation sources on industrial green performance show that: The relationship between green technology R&D and domestic green technology introduction and industrial green performance shows a "U" curve relationship that declines first and then rises,and the promotion role is dominant during the study period.There is no obvious non-linear relationship between foreign green technology introduction and industrial green performance,but the linear regression coefficient is significantly positive,indicating that foreign green technology introduction can continue to promote industrial green performance.The relationship between green technological transformation and industrial green performance is an inverted "U" curve that first promotes and then suppresses,the inhibitory effect was dominant during the study period.Second,further consider the different impacts of heterogeneous industries: The relationship between green technology R&D and industrial green performance shows a "U" shape in industry wide,low-tech and low-pollution industries,and low-tech and high-pollution industries,and shows a monotonous increasing relationship in high-tech and low-pollution industries.The relationship between the introduction of foreign green technology and industrial green performance shows an inverted "U" shape in low-tech and high-pollution industries,and increases monotonically in industry wide,low-tech and low-pollution industries,and high-tech and low-pollution industries.The relationship between domestic green technology introduction and industrial green performance shows a "U" shape in industry wide and low-tech and low-pollution industries,and has no obvious relationship in low-tech and high-pollution industries and high-tech and low-pollution industries.The relationship between green technology transformation and industrial green performance has an inverted "U" shape in industry wide,low-tech and low-pollution industries,and low-tech and high-pollution industries,and has no obvious relationship in high-tech and low-pollution industries.Based on the research conclusions,the following related countermeasures and suggestions are proposed: The main ways to improve green performance in low-tech and low-pollution industries are foreign technology introduction and increase green technology R&D investment,optimize the allocation of R&D investment elements,and strengthen the initiative and selectivity of green technology introduction.The key to improving green performance in low-tech and high-pollution industries is to increase the digestion and absorption capacity of imported technologies by enterprises.Through appropriate guidance and policy support from the government,we will support and nurture industry green technology R&D capabilities.High-tech and low-pollution industries should continue to increase the stock of knowledge capital and improve the level of green technology research and development,give play to the synergy of foreign technology introduction and enterprise technology research and development,and further implement the effective implementation of innovation-driven development strategies in the industrial industry.
