| Objectives: To investigate the TCM syndrome type,constitution and general condition of female infertility patients,explore the distribution of TCM syndrome type and constitution type of infertility patients,find out the common TCM syndrome types and constitutions of the sample infertility patients,and discuss the relevance of the infertility;to understand the causes of infertility and its influencing factors,to explore the relationship between these influencing factors and the common TCM syndrome type and constitution of infertility,to provide reference for the treatment of infertility.Methods: Using a clinical epidemiological survey method,a unified TCM syndrome and physical fitness questionnaire was established.Questionnaire surveys were conducted on patients meeting the criteria for infertility diagnosed at the hospital outpatient clinic between March 2017 and January 2018,using EXCEL software.The database quantifies the collected questionnaire data,and the numerical data is directly entered.SPSS 22.0 statistical analysis software package was used for statistical analysis.Fisher’s exact test was used to test the relationship between TCM syndrome type and physical distribution characteristics and influencing factors in infertile patients.When P<0.05,the result was considered statistically significant.Results: 1.This survey collected a total of 193 female infertile patients,the youngest 23 years old,the largest 44 years old,an average of 31.23 ± 4.94 years old,mainly concentrated in the 25 to 35-year-old period,the average BMI 20.98 ± 1.86.2.Of the 193 female infertility patients surveyed,68(35.2%)were primary infertility and 125(64.8%)were secondary infertility;the main cause of tubal factors was the most.73,accounting for 37.8%,followed by 70 ovulatory abnormalities(36.3%),uterine factors 34(accounting for 17.6%),endometriosis 7(3.9%),and adenomyosis 6(3.1%),3 other factors(1.6%).3.The distribution of TCM syndrome type in infertility patients was the most common with kidney-qi deficiency syndrome,a total of 47(24.4%),followed by 38(19.7%)with kidney-yang deficiency,and 33(17.1%)with damp-heat accumulation.Phlegm dampness internal resistance 23 people(accounting for 11.9%),obstructive uterine cervix card 22 people(accounting for 11.4%),liver qi stagnation card 21 people(accounting for 10.9%),kidney yin deficiency card 9 people(accounting for 4.7%).4.Most of the infertile patients were biased constitutions,of which the most positive and negative patients were 38(19.7%),followed by qi deficiency and quality(33%)(17.1%),and damp-heat(33%)(17.1%).Twenty-three persons(11.9%)had phlegm and dampness,22(11.4%)had blood stasis,20(10.4%)had qi stasis,13(6.7%)had temperament,and 9 had yin deficiency(Accounted for 4.7%),special quality 2(1.0%).5.There is a significant difference between the TCM syndrome type of infertility patients,TCM constitution distribution and age,body mass index,dietary preference,primary/secondary infertility,number of pregnancies,and main causes(P<0.05).6.The infertility patients’ TCM syndromes,TCM constitution distribution and education level,occupation,sleep quality,smoking and drinking history,and disease course were related,and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).Conclusions:1.Female infertility patients with syndrome of kidney deficiency are the most common syndromes of kidney-qi deficiency,followed by kidney-yang deficiency syndrome,damp-heat accumulation syndrome,dampness internal resistance syndrome,and so on.2.Female infertility patients are mostly biased constitution,with yang deficiency and quality being the most common,followed by damp heat,qi deficiency,phlegm and dampness.3.The TCM constitution of female infertility patients affected the types of syndromes,the nature of syndromes,and the congruence of syndromes,and there were multiple corresponding relationships between them.4.Female infertility patients have a certain correlation with TCM syndrome,TCM constitution and age,body mass index,diet,birth history,and main causes. |
