With the acceleration of population aging in our country,and the diseases related to aging,both increased the country on the cause of pension investment,and increased the economic burden of offspring,this will become our country medical problems to be solved.Understand the mechanisms of aging and explore anti-aging effective method for the future health of the human life is of great significance.In ancient China had explored anti-aging methods,and put forward according to the theory of kidney,diet,and so on,this also for the experimental study provides a theoretical basis.Subjects used in the experiment is Caenorhabditis elegans(C.elegans),since it has life cycle short,easy to cultivate and preservation,the body structure is simple,clear genetic background,homologous genes,and so on advantages,very suitable for anti-aging research.This experiment mainly different brands of FUDR has carried on the review,and to extend the service life of C.elegans red ginseng extract effect of experimental research.Objective: To evaluate the effect of FUDR on physiological indexes of C.elegans,and to evaluate the effect of feeding C.elegans with different concentrations of red ginseng extracts on its anti-aging effect and to preliminarily study its mechanism.Methods: By using different concentrations of red ginseng extract(2.5 g/L、5.0 g/L、10.0 g/L)group and the control group on C.elegans life cycle test,record data and contrast of red ginseng extract group and the control group survival curves were analyzed.Also through the use of different concentrations of red ginseng extract experiment group and the control group the physiological indexes of C.elegans test: C.elegans fertility experiment,pharynx pump frequency,oscillation frequency,the ability to resist oxidative damage body,daf-2 and daf-16 mutant strains nematodes life cycle experiment,through the above C.elegans results on the impact of the various indicators,to extend the service life of C.elegans red ginseng extract to evaluate the effect of extend the service life of C.elegans and preliminary research on the role of mechanisms.Results: The effect of FUDR on pharyngeal pump frequency and body wiggle frequency was not statistically significant.The average life span of Caenorhabditis elegans in FUDR group was higher than that in control group.Feeding red ginseng extract(2.5 g/L、5.0 g/L、10.0 g/L),the experimental group compared with control group,the longevity of C.elegans respectively 10.8%,16.5%,20.6%,and significantly prolong effect(P < 0.05),the highest increase C.elegans 49.23% oxygen damage resistance,can reduce the fat accumulation of brown pigment,C.elegans mutant strain nematodes daf-2 can extend and dad-16 days the average life expectancy of nematodes,explain the delay the aging of C.elegans role is not through the mechanism of daf pathway,Reproductive ability of C.elegans,swallowing rate and the influence of the oscillation frequency body compared with the control group no significant difference(P < 0.05).Conclusion: The red ginseng extract at a certain concentration can extend the life span of C.elegans,improve the survival rate of C.elegans,but has no significant effect on its fecundity,improve the antioxidant capacity of C.elegans,and can also extend the life span of daf-2 and dad-16 mutant lines nematode,indicating that its mechanism of action has nothing to do with daf pathway.
