Study On Medical Social Work Intervention In Humanistic Care In Public Hospitals

Under the background of the tense relationship between doctors and patients in China and the implementation of the strategy of healthy China,the State Health and Family Planning Commission has repeatedly issued policies emphasizing the role of medical social workers in providing humanistic care services,easing the relationship between doctors and patients,caring for medical staff and giving full play to the role of the main force in healthy China.However,the old humanistic care system can not meet the current medical and patient needs because its service object is only for patients,the service content is single,and the service method is not professional enough;therefore,it is necessary to reflect on and optimize the old medical humanistic care system,and pay full attention to the importance of medical social work in the optimization and reconstruction of medical humanistic care system.This study takes the Y project of S city Y hospital as a new research case of medical humanistic care practice.By participating in observation method and semi-structured interview method to collect data,the service content,object,method and process of the project are described,and the effect,experience and deficiency of the project are summarized and reflected.The effect of medical humanistic care practice is reflected in the enhancement of medical staff and volunteers’ sense of belonging to the hospital,the improvement of medical humanistic quality of medical staff,the improvement of patient satisfaction,and the promotion of harmonious relationship between doctors and patients.In addition,it also has some shortcomings in the process of implementation,its shortcomings are mainly reflected in the lack of humanistic care services for medical staff and outpatients,the overall depth of service is insufficient,the leading nature of medical social workers is limited,and the relevant practical research is insufficient.Based on the case analysis of the Y project,this paper discusses the important role of medical social work in the reconstruction of medical humanistic care system,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures and suggestions from three levels: government,medical and health institutions and medical social work.The government can give full play to the leading role of medical social workers,provide financial support in the field of medical and health care to create a good medical humanistic care environment;hospitals can retain medical social workers by improving the treatment of medical social workers,publicizing the practice of medical social workers’ cultural care,and providing medical social workers with opportunities for outside study and training.
